just passed out from Singapore taxi academy.... my trainer recommended me and a few more classmates to be limo drivers... brothers out there, any comments?? Ah Guan

Anyway,
U need to have some road exposure (experiences) before becoming a "qualified limousine cabby"...
If a pax board your cab... tell u a destination.... u blur out .. how ?
U are supposed to be a premier driver.... hence, my advice for you is to go drive normal cabs (sweeping the country roads) before turning into limousine cabs.

he is AH PUI = Roy Ng ..... While smoking with him during breaks, alot of funny stories from him.... He told me n a few classmates .... prepare namecards liao ... he see potential in the few of us driving limo .... LOL Ah Guan

Most Taxi companies required u to have some normal cabs driving experiences, especially CDG, which u need to go for an interview with the Premier Dept (dun know u still need it now).
Previously (during my time in 2003), I need to go thru an interview before even allowed to apply.
Go check it out if you are interested. Driving limousine cabs is just a stepping stone...
to become your own boss in Private Limousine trade.

For your information....
Many social formed limousine walky talkie groups do not allowed SilverStar (the proper name for Silvercab's Mercedes CDI) to join the group.... becos their cabs are SILVER in color.
As a limousine driver, u also required to have 1-2 socially formed limousine groups to assist you in your daily routine - such as providing u with Traffic information, Airport status, and even limousine-rated jobs from hotel callers.

go try out normal cab see u nid how many hr otr just to cover rental and diseal...

Why don't I be the Taxis Association Lecturer....
Firstly, printing namecard is essential, as a limousine driver, you are encouraged to do your own farming (for future businesses).
If the passenger like your services, then they will always call you if they required a professional driver to fetch him or his guests around.Email accounts are essential if passengers are foreigner whom resides overseas. However, you are required to check your email a/c everyday.. haha.
FB a/c ? Me dun have... haha... who gives the shit.

If your trainer is Mr Tony... then different case.... he is a limousine cab driver with CDG.
I know him for 8-9 yrs liao.
