It's time for you to let go sgforums - do a forum renewal.
Have you identified your successor yet?
Try to get one who doesn't say yes to eveything you say or stomps her feet and says "I don't know" .
even with inexperience, that will be guided by many power mountains....é å±±
what to do.....in historical china, if u r rich or powerful and though stupid...u could still pay for an adviser to advise, help u do assignments or pass imperial exams....lol

GE: Focus on GE preparations, say ministers, candidates
Posted: 02 April 2011 1902 hrs
SINGAPORE: A call to
stay focused on preparations for the upcoming General Election. That is
the thrust of reactions from Ministers from the People's Action Party
and candidates to comments from netizens on the ruling party's Ms Tin
Pei Ling, the youngest PAP candidate to be introduced so far.
Although Ms Tin has been the target of some criticism online, she has the support of her party seniors and peers.
In a span of an hour, Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong posted two updates on the Marine Parade GRC Facebook page on Ms Tin.
In his first posting, Mr Goh said Ms Tin has been traumatised and he was with Ms Tin when she saw a trauma specialist on Friday.
Mr
Goh said that her "initial hurt and pain have subsided" and that " in
the process, discovered steel in her." He added that she will "grow in
strength."
Shortly after, Mr Goh followed up with another posting. Mr Goh said the media failed to appreciate his tongue-in-cheek post.
He said he had used a medical metaphor as Dr Fatimah Lateef, an MP for Marine Parade GRC, is a trauma specialist.
His comments come on the heels of other party members who spoke in support of Ms Tin.
Deputy
Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng said: "I think she is a very presentable,
capable young lady...she is very mature. Clearly she has spent many
years working hard on the ground, doing grassroots work, even before she
came to our attention."
Meanwhile, new PAP candidate Edwin Tong
said: "She brings a degree of value to the team and that should be the
focus rather than what she has done in the past...I think we need to
focus on the real issues that concern the election and concern the
residents."
On his part, Deputy Prime Minister Teo said there are
some segments of the online community which are habitually negative and
sceptical.
He said: "That's quite normal in online communities
all over the world. I think we should try and keep a sense of balance.
Viciousness, untruthfulness is not helpful."
The Singapore
Democratic Alliance's Goh Kim Seng, who plans to contest in Pasir
Ris-Punggol GRC, described the comments regarding Ms Tin as rather
harsh.
He said: "The young bring with them their young ideas. The
old also have their ideas. I think we need a rich mix of ideas, so I
think we should give her a chance to prove herself. We should not be
overly judgmental."
While SDA's Secretary-General Desmond Lim said that his advice for Ms Tin would be to "stay focused and move on."

Definately she needs to learn and to control, not easy to be in politics. Good and bad.
