Looking at how Tin Pei Ling speaks so poorly and gives evasive answers on interviews, it is a wonder that she is a management consultant.
Gasp! How did she pass the interview and selection tests? I understand management consultants' interviews take a whole day. It's normal for 200 people to arrive in the morning and get weeded out in interview after test after interview, so two (2) are left standing by 7pm. As a graduate, I have ample examples of management consultant classmates to cite.
I don't think she's in the top 1% of candidates in terms of intellect or analytical or speaking ability. And she's been on the job for five years. What's more surprising is her degree in psychology. A management consultant candidate from such a background should require very compelling scores in the above to succeed.
I am not suggesting that she entered Ernst & Young through the back door (as the TR story suggests), but her record certainly raises questions.
She reflects very poorly on Ernst & Young's consulting arm.

she's fast becoming a liability.
She should not talk much.
Learn from the seniors, learn to take action and not talk.

Every time I see someone spell "Tin Peeling", I mentally strike off the "L".
Then I stand at attention like it's the national anthem.

Some of the ministers speak very badly too.
But they are the betterest that we have.
Though not necessarily the cheaperest.
all must hire speech teacher like the king's speech?
and who pay?
those speaking singlish or chinese is more 亲近民心
makes them one of us.
not on top of us.

Nice to have such a good contacts, can get in thru back door.

Not act dumb, speak where necessary. Look, see and learn and put it in ACTION.
It just prove how robust the system is,
You can put a donkey inside and it still functions.
That is why there are some many donkeys shaking hand this morning.
If one is born in the family where there is 'some' good contacts or married to some 'good' contacts, you can just go in easily and act like a donkey, doesnt matter.
关系 is no doubt a bery good tool, whether in business or politics.
and hor, 没有过去?
lets nt 4get the yellow ribbon project.....
