i also seriously think having her in the team will backfire. She doesn't feel strongly about any policy, her husband's a high income earner, she's going to earn almost $1m in her 5 years term as MP and best of all, she rode on the wings of senior MPs to get in!
$1m of tax money gone to her and what would she have done for Singapore after 5 years? Is $1m of money her market rate outside?
And she's being sold as the wife of principal private secretary to PM, says a lot about her substance huh.

oh come on. these new candidates are put into rather safe district. reason being. most probably these areas are gonna have a walkover. therefore these new puppets are just being put there for the time being to social around with the citizens first before changing their area.
i guess this is part of PAP's strategy. whos so dumb to put such an inexperienced young lady to be a representative for their area?

havent we had enough of dynasty rule. now even the wife of PM secretary can have a bite at being MP. singapore is sounding more and more like libya.the funny pt is secretary of PM is a man not a lady. haha.

Look at his own wife... LOL!
I'm scared she will do a shitty job, but PAP won't replace her next election cos lose face, or worse, PAP will be seen as giving in to the people FOR ONCE. Then we're stuck with her for 2 or more terms = 10 years.

personally, the grassroots are just like 东厂( 太监） of ming dynasty. they spy around the country for the emperor.
the way, the PAP can milk MP out from various ministeries, stat boards, GLC is already scary for me. no wonder PAP only want to talk like CEO not politicians. just dollars and cents, profit and loss. dont give a damn whether you are poor or needy.

Mr Lui was speaking to reporters at the sidelines of the launch of an arts exhibition by autistic students.
PAP's youngest candidate unveiled so far for the upcoming General Election, Ms Tin has come under fire from some netizens.
However, Mr Lui said this could be a chance for Ms Tin to prove herself.
He said: "The most important thing is to stand fast to your beliefs and your set of values. Yes, pay attention by all means to the feedback that is given by others, particularly if it is constructive feedback on how we can improve ourselves - we all need to do that, not just the new candidates.
"But at the end of the day, we must also recognise that there will be some who will support us very strongly, there will be detractors, and we just need to make sure that we focus on serving the residents and doing our best for the future of Singapore."
