Perhaps he want to "fix" again.
Emperor Lee expects us to be good boys and girls once again!
If we don't use our once in every four to five years precious vote to show you guys WE are unhappy, what else can we do. Feel unhappy and frustrated for another term?

He is treating us like dirt. I shall post how he treats us in a separate thread.
I wonder who's the 'daft' ones.
The reason for the increasing property prices is all due to the government's overly pro-foreigners policy. They need a place to stay, we need a place to stay. Demand exceeds supply, price increases.
Try throwing your shoe in Orchard Road, blindfolded. Chances is, you'll hit a foreigner then a local.
Nowadays when I go out, I feel like I'm in China. I hear more China-accented Chinese then my old and familiar "wah lau", "lah" and "lor".
Now, we're the 'daft' ones?
LOL. HDB flats no value when they lost the election??? like that everyone will vote for them to lost then go and snatch up the flats at cheap price liao.
btw, i find this forum better than speaker corner.

fall short idea lah most flat owner will not want to loose their HDB value..leh...
the Old Goat is trying to deflect peoples' attention from other issues...........trying to fool people into thinking the only problem is HDB prices..............
goes to show how little respect the Old Mudder-Farker has for S'poreans' intellect......................
But if Mr Mah loses to the opposition, he warned that Singaporeans better sell their flats fast as it would no longer be of any value.
Cant find any reason why need to sell flats.
If sell flats, we live where? Seaside?
Bad comments.
Old generation - the older generation have suffered so much with their jobs robbed by FT. Do you think they will believe the white one any more ?
Middle generation - Kana retrenched and replaced by "hungry" FT and cannot find a job despite having experience and with huge outstanding debts. Do you think they will support the white one who keeping taking more from them and providing more advantage to FT ?
Young generation - After seeing their parents for less than three days per week and missing most of the important moments of their life, do you think they want to become the modern slave like their parents and made their kids suffered due to never ending greed ?
Foreign generation - they are here to make use all the loopholes of the weaklings here to get free taxi ride and free scholarship. They are not here to stay and they will vote who that gave them free lobangs paid by the local weaklings.
ya... last time HDB only cost few thousands dollar... now hundreds of thousands... who wouldn't protest?
During the financial crisis when my hk colleague ask mi if i think HSBC will closed down or not... can buy they share or not... i will tell them... how many hk ppl got hsbc bank a/c leh?? if it really close down then the whole hk siao liao lor..... then told them same for sg.. if posb/dbs will to closed down.. then sg ppl also siao liao lor...... and since not 1 or 2 ppl.. it's the whole nation.. then why worry leh??... same to our property price.... if all sg property price drop 90% then so be it.... we still have a roof to stay in.. just this roof is alot cheaper now...our personal wealth all drop by 90% nia lor.. big deal meh? since everyone else also kena in sg what....
why they are so scared??? because some ppl here dun own only 1 property lor... dunno why they need more than 1 roof to cover their head one..... that is the real reason lah... think about it....
oh... and that's only part 1........ part 2 is that... once all the property drop 90%... our cost of doing business in sg will drop too..... u see got why to be competitive beside always asking us to cut pay nia.....then all the different industries will all be making the same profit but at a lower cost meaning a lower price for the customer.......... everyone will benefit... 1 plate of rice will become 1 dollar again... bus will be 35cent again...but does that mean we become poorer??? no lah... our purchasing power will still be the same like now... and also.. dun mean out salary will cut too leh... maybe even increase...... tio bo?

You have a point. Most buy HDB for providing a roof over their heads, some buy HDB to make money out of it. The latter will be unhappy if the HDB flat price drops.
HDB flats how to drop a lot..................Mah Bow Nao will simply raise prices of new flats to support old flats' prices............will drop if a lot of FT leave but still won't crash..............but still good news for new buyers........
private homes will crash soon...............30-50%...............

I think maybe the younger generation may still listen to them.
The middle and older generation may think twice about giving too much mandate back to the incumbent party because of what has been happening in the past few years.
You hear of constant complaints and grumblings everywhere you go in singapore these days - people in kopitiams, people taking the MRT, people at the markets - be it about too crowded, too expensive, retrenchments, low salaries etc. It really seems like life is geting worse by the day.
Younger generation, still listening to them?
I think I am part of the younger portion of the voting population of Singapore, and yea, they have indeed pissed me off.
I don't see a future here, when more then half of my colleagues are foreigners, or PRCs, for that fact. We used to joke that this is Singapore Inc. It isn't a joke anymore.
- Government opened the door so big to foreigners that every Ah Tiong, Ah Neh or anyone with a bit of cash in their pockets can come in. Who in turn inflats our economy to unrecognisable standards.
- Foreign companies setting up branches here in turn employ their own people to spearhead the branches. They provide employment for locals? Look deeper into the corresponding jobs the "FTs" have taken away from the locals in the local companies, as well as the positions the FTs and the locals are holding, then you can clearly see who's being shortchanged here.
- Local companies employing foreigners to cater to foreigners' interest. Their presence here enriches the locals? Yeah right.
To the FTs reading this : You can have this place.
then where u wan to go leh??
