Don't know. Just heard about that from other people and friends. They said something about although it has been a very established course, they also teach redundant things esp when you go overseas for a degree course in mass comm.
People always say that Ngee Ann's mass comm is the best compared to other polytechnic's mass comm/media and communication. But is that really true?
Anyway, what's life in Np like? I'm contemplating on which poly to go..
We are known as the "best" simply because we have been established for a longer period of time as compared to the other polytechnics that are offering deviations of mass communications. It will take time for results to show which polytechnic has produced the most outstanding students capable of producing excellent work in the media industry.
The course here doesn't teach you redundant things. Some people see it as redundant as you can learn them from a degree course overseas. However, why wait to embark on a degree program if you're interested in learning about the media industry? Why not do it now instead? Certain graduates of our course have professed that the years in NP's mass com made their university life easier as they had gotta used to the workload the curriculum imposes on students.
Life in NP is fun. That's the one word that I can use to sum it up for you. Heh.
Hope this clarifies some or all of your doubts.
