nite driving is never easy... espcially for newbies...
even for seasoned day drivers... when driving into the nite... mind set hav to switch once the sun sets...
wat happens in the day... 80% reverse for the nite...

You were Super Relief before. Which means you had the chance to experience OMO lifestyle (both day and night). But now you choose to go into perm night relief.
I am a perm night relief. As a night relief, I learned that money is in Airport or City. After midnight, money is in city. Pick up pax going to any area outside city, you come back alone to city.
Have friends driving in the day. They say connections very good (drop off and pick up). Seldom travel alone. Night driving most of the time no connections. Must drive alone back to City.
Believe I have said enough. You should be more exerienced since you worked OMO. Why you choose to be night relief? My hirer who works in the day earns more than what I can in the night. His distance travelled is also shorter; which means less fuel consumed. Shouln't day time driving be better?
My suggest.........give yourself a chance..........
At least drive a CDG cab for 1-2 years............many many things can learn through driving a CDG cab, tio bo?......Poolman.....lol
After you master the art of TD through CDG........go to any companies also no problem..........

PS2U, body clock cant seem to adjust to Day shift. Traffic can be horrid in the morning too. OMO is seriously tough, with split shift, I wonder how can any kind soul take it?
And it is also harder to find perm day shift? Gonna go OMO and find a night shift relief?

Taxi Driving can make provided u work SPLIT SHIFT.
SPLIT SHIFT IS OMO.
Work from morning 5 am to 10 am.
Then from 2pm to 12 Midnight.
Any experienced OMOs' dare reveal their earnings?
OMO daily earnings same as Night-shift if you can split shift or Drive 4pm to 4am with half an hour break. No off-days. Well SMRT gives one free day every month but high rental. Never drive beyond 12Hrs. Very fast Bowah will have to take U or prepare to pay $2000 - $2200 depending on which companies.
Only benefits is you have a car at your disposal.
Hirer/Relief means you have to wash car; pump diesel then hand over. But OMO no need too. 3 to 4 days wash exterior. Interior everyday clean takes about 10 mins.
Relief is still the best options. Want to go off just pay half rental @ $25 - $28. OMO off must pay @ $100 - $115.6
Unless u like me, Siao! then go for OMO.
If got chance i would rather be a relief and that have to wait till next year Sept. (Family Problems needs to be address first)
"NEW" join CDG if u want to survive long.
One new driver from SMRT took his car same day as me drove 6am to 12mn with 2hrs break in between only clock $3xx minus rental and diesel left $1xx. Epica daily overhead (OMO) @ $170 - $180. 16hrs for $1xx. Go and calculate.
i do weds to sat...wed and thur target only 1xx ..friday and sat target 2xx then go home.
Pattern airport before midnight and town after midnight for fri and sat.
Weekdays i do sweeping floor ..lol
since 2 weeks ago i stop driving on tuesday cause cannot hit target and less pax.
