If Fullerton Hotel called for a cab , rate on $3.50 .
If u charge $8 booking fee , without our endorsement from us , and got caught .

Cos this is clearly overcharge case .
Unless Fullerton Hotel called and we controllers mention "advance" booking now .... endorsed .
U charge $8 , fine ....
Bell Boys and Concierge is never so bad to nail driver who help them .

5.05pm start work ..... shoot Tuas , 5.30pm advance job @ Tuas , for $5.20 .

When i was at TransCab ...... 10.30pm at Vivo , advance booking Sentosa Cove at 10.45pm to Airport .
Like that can ?

Most of LV's core business is in the $3.30 or advance job category.
only a small % for "advance now" job.
as for $xx plus meter or more, it's really very very rare, that's why ppl call it durian.
and why so good, cos usually at that time, either TD go home liao or really heavy rain, very dangerous to drive. Pay so much, sure got reason one la. U think those ppl really stupid.
But some shit stirrer in here seems like trying to stir till like that small % is LV's core business. Dunno what their motive. Too free maybe. (minimum) or worst (out of jealousy)

One thing for sure, LV's Jurong is;and, Tuas jobs sure sucks.
can get advance job on my Iphone apps anytime.
LV's bulk of those calls is $3.30. Who the fuck want to go all the way into Jurong Island for $3.30. Even if I am there, also not shiok to fetch those cheap stack.
Worst still, only after so dam long, $3.30 no takers, then they up to $5 , then to $8.
Just imagine if I desperate, straightaway grab the $3.30. Lose out alot right?
I rather empty cab go back town.

when LTA want to pin you, LTA officer will tell you
the mistake done by taxi company, we will deal with them sperately
for you, advance booking is 1/2hr or more, you know right? (infact, you must know)
did you charge advance booking fee when you know it is less then 1/2hr booking?

the company can do a mistake, but you should know your rules and regulation

No where in LTA website does it states that Advance booking must be at least 30mins than can charge adv booking fee.
Advance booking fee and timing is a guideline set by taxi companies and not by LTA.
LTA has already said very clearly in their website "Taxi Fares in Singapore are determined by the taxi companies and are driven by the industry market forces."

For me its pretty clear.
I charge paxs accordingly to the taxi company that i am driving for.
For example, if im driving for CDG,regardless LV or CDG throw me a advance job be it "now, 5min or 30mins later my advance booking fee will be as according to CDG taxi fare.
Anything more is considered as overcharging.

If one knows it inside out. What can be done and what cant be done.

How to define overcharging?.........
TD words against passengers words..........passengers produce receipt, TD die cock stand, passengers can't produce receipt, TD also die cock stand, why? Benefit of doubt always given to passengers, many cases have proven especially CDG taxi.........
Taxi Stand help to produce record?......never heard of, maybe members can try next time, see taxi stand got so steady or not............
Limousine drivers always in the limelight, why?......because SMLJ limo drivers also know how to chunt pattern, this time round, normalsine involve.......lol
There's a limitation to a normalsine taxi meter, what's the maximum rate you can charge, all stated in the fare chart........to net you is as easy as ABC............
Do you know that the rate a limousine meter can go is unlimited...........if this days, most limo drivers can become so obedient...........I don't see any difficulty for the authority to deal with normalsine............
