We have callers that made those super advance booking , he called CDG , TransCab , SIlver , Smrt , smart and prime ....... no taxis .
He make a call to LV ..... and try their luck with offers . Some asked what can they do to get a cab , urgently . We say make an advance booking ..... 30 minutes wait and cost $8 for most taxis , TransCab $6.50 accordingly .
Just like CDG and any other taxis .
Someone answered , they got a cab .
He/She got a cab and sent them home .
Some said can be there in 10-20minutes , customer even more happier , save time .
Anything illegal ?
We did not proposed to customers , they knew it , they offered .
Without LV ..... maybe they are still standing there waiting for durians to drop in the morning .

We are the solution for them ..... we gave them alternatives . We help them solve some problems .
If they proposed the offers and decided not to take it ..... they can anytime cancelled the booking .
Our boys can manage just that .
Nothing illegal about it .

LTA can interview my boss Mr Bob Chia anytime .
What Bob said will be similiar to what i said . Cos this is what we did to help our customers .
LTA knew Lake View for a long time , LTA walk to our Kiosk just 5 minutes can reached .

Store 135 today called Jenny to say ..... They still support LV thick and think .

135 thought it is ridiculous that they ( LTA ) called it illegal .
135 all the while is $5 plus meter i dare say ..... since day 1 !!!
Their Japanese customers are happy , they are happy . We are happy .
Their Japanese customers will be very unhappy if 135 boss cannot get a cab for them .
Store 135 is very happy that their japanese customers are happy and are coming back for more .
We played a part .
Cos we knew they will lose their japanese customers because of taxi service .
They lose their customers , we lose them , clear cut !!!

it will be categorized as illegal , if your booking surge up to $20 plus meter .
$50 plus meter .....
We don't do that .
But i knew some white colour taxis do that .

Every 2-3 years ..... LakeView surely on the headlines for the wrong reason .
But that will never demolish our confidence , esp with me around . kekekeke .

They will asked "who is Lake View taxis " .
Just Google , can find us .
Free advertisements from ST as far as Lake View is concern .

Any difference between call booking for "advance now" job or a advance booking 30mins later?
Only difference is the timing.
Charges are the same.
So where is LTA drawing the line on wats is illegal and wats not in regards to this matter?
Yes charging more than what is stipulated in the Taxi company fare card guidelines may be consider as illegal by LTA.

even MDT sometimes will bling advanced calls for ETA in 10, 15, 20 mins...

ever took one LV advanced now call... 10am plus in morning to AP...
pax says she book cab from taxi company previous nite 10pm for 10am... received sms in the middle of the nite taxi number SHX 1234...
8am... second sms... taxi number change to SHX 7890....
9:55am she ready with luggage and all waiting infront of her house... no taxi appeared...
10:05am... she still waiting...
10:10am... she call hotline... "please hold while.... blah blah..."
10:15am... still on hold...
cannot wait liao... suddenly think of LV... she call 6254 1117... tell operator urgent... dun mind paying advanced rates... rather den miss her flight...
juz nice me drop pax near her place... talkie call advanced now... take lah!
when we almost reach AP about 10:45am...
third sms comes to her phone... taxi number SHX 9999 coming in five to seven minutes...
nowadays... she go AP... juz call 6254 1117 half hour before leaving... sure got cab...

Look carefully the letters in bold . Now is not about customers or other people's busineses , its about you as the TD.
Demerit points or VL revoked, sounds serious? to me it is.
So if any TD were to kena , how is the taxi stand going to protect them? or fight for them?
or simply wash hands and move on paging the next XX+meter calls.
I think you guys should be more concerned about this.

That's why we pay "protection money" to stand every month. If really kanna kopi and no protection from the stand then all members withdraw then the stand will collapse liao....Lol

i am surprised none of the LV members actually posted a query about whats going to happen to them if action was indeed taken.
