Pax, TD & taxi co, CDG,who is right or wrong ?

if taxi can claim more because its only between driver and very few passengers, why not take taxi. more comfortable and more insurance in case something really go wrong. as long can pin the driver and their comapny they cannot run

This is interesting. He did not beat red light but had to brake hard in order not to. Physical damage none! according to him. Which could be true because if he brake so hard, both he and pax would be hurt.
Few days later, pax claim physical damage of $1000. Driver still okay. But Taxi Company CDG wants driver to bear this claim! What is the insurance for then?
Can anyone explain how the taxi insurance coverage really works in Singapore?
After reading this, I would rather beat red lights if I have pax, because the fine is cheaper than pax medical claims.

CDG means Comfort for ALL! Driver, Pax, Pedestrian, Jay or Gay walker, even cat and dog, etc.... Any problems, complain.
Complain only when you have a real issue. Don't complain because you want a discount.
If you want compensation, be prepared to spend lot more to engage a Lawyer. You might find some ex-lawyers working as taxi drivers who could give you a discount.

To summarise, Taxi driver Brake to avoid Red Light. If Taxi driver beat Red Light, Fine around $300.
Now Taxi driver must pay $1000 as ordered by taxi company CDG because of damage to passenger body. WHAT DOES TAXI INSURANCE COVER? If taxi driver beat red light, he only pay around $300 fine.
Better beat Red Light if you have Passenger in your taxi in such cases.

TS mentioned that he got details from Chinese Newspaper. Maybe he is the only one who reads Chinese News Paper! in this forum.
