Why TD do not like to take pax going to 2 or 3 or 4 stops ?

In the first place can TD reject these type of pax ? Even 2 0r 3 stops the meter is still running,why complain & so choosy?

because 2 or 3 stops is equivalent to 2 or 3 trips..
it deprives others of a chance to take the cab (which is a resource) and also the TD's chances of making more (business opportunity).
pax may say they are giving us more business but I say they are exploiting the system to their benefit.
most times I would say pax save more on money and time than what we benefit.
unless we can reset meter after every stop (serves as a dis-incentive to hog resource and pax has to pay more for the convenience and time savings) or we can choose to accept or reject....
then TDs will be a happier lot, esp me!

to each of his own lor. As long as pax pay up, to me it's ok to go 3 or 4 stops. Better than empty cab imo.

From XXXXXX , 3 paxes on board : " Uncle 4 stops "
"first stop Swissotel alight my friend ."
Reached Swissiotel alighted one , another one hop up . Still 3 paxes , balance 3 stops .
Second stop alight one at Marine Parade , then a few bus stops away , pick up his dunno who to Chai Chee .
Reached Chai Chee , last one want to proceed to Sengkang , my friend chase dulan chase him out .
4 stops liao !
He want complaint .... my friend say pls go , take the receipt and complaint , pay up , thank u .

So when u get call ..... 10 places also must go ? By right yes , by left hmm .......
But once pax miscue , and u found the loop hole , can we chase them out ?
I would say yes , i would .
4 places means 4 places .

Some good cabbies still will entertain this type .... i mean from 5pm to 12mn , i will never entertain long long distance .
I dun have such stamina .
Even town to AP one stop 20 minutes trip i also siam liao .
Mine is shorter the better , the faster i can collect the fare , i can get my next pax who could be ....
Flag down $3.20
CBD $3
Booking $3.50
Peak hour $0.85
Not $0.22 jump with 25% .... it's a bloody waste of my time .

Some might ask .... If u dun take , who take ? Some eventually will take . Yes lor , they have to wait for that special driver lor . Not me definitely . Or the best they call for a cab . Some driver as long as got call , 10 places they also will go . So let them call ....
And see who the lucky driver to get it .

P/S : Mine opinion is base on my shift from 5pm to 12MN .

But .... but .... If at Tuas ..... got booking for 4 stops , eventual destination is in CBD , yes . It's the eventual destination that play a part too .

But .... but ....if regulated taxi structure allow us to collect $1 per stop ..... Most driver will welcome multi stops . 100 stops also go .

One day morning abt 10+ at collar quay taxi stnd. Two OL pretty chicks boarded my cab ask me whether i know how to go jurong shipyard.. Knn my first trip that morning already at jalan bahar now back to jurong again.. So i replied i dont know... In my heart i i hope they board the taxi behind me..Then the chick saw i got gps... Then say i gif u road name then key in Tankong kling road... Then midway journey inform say need wait a while at the shipyard office sign some documents then go back collar quay.. Jouney almost 1hr... $$$. 35 bucks... Is it worth it or not?

give me saliva drip till floor.. got pretty ladies to accompany you, dan go jurong come back town.. what more you want? just ask yourself.. from 10am to 11am, can you confidently say that easy easy can get 35? -

ya , ever kena 1 such trip i tell paxs i taxi driver not persnal driver, f they need such service, either they book me for hourly charter rate , if not cannot, but i did not chase them, but make hem decide to pay up and leave.
they complain ,i go lta drink kopi
i tell lta, ask them what is taxi driver role......pick up send to dest point right?
i say pax buuly, take us as what?But as long as i did not chase them, reject them . in the end bo tai chi

that's why must allow TDs to decide to accept or reject multiple stops because we know the demand and supply situation better.

Last week i pick 2 ah lian just outside Goodwood Hotel around 8pm, just outside CBD no taxi stop for them. At first tell me 2 place, i ok.. Then halfway driving tell me 3 place, i turn around, confirm only 2 girls. I ask only got 2 passenger u want go 3 place? Girl then say pick up some things.. Scotts Rd to Serangoon North, then Boon Keng, then CCK. Total fare $40, ok what...

How long you take? More then an hour ya? If city to within city can hit that amount within an hour and use less fuel and still in town. CCK? 9pm++ Go do CCK/BP shuttle?...Lol

No need. I just need to know which area call to take when I am outside CDB to bring me back to town. and which TS to go when inside CBD. After 8pm? Keep liao loh....not productive. No need interview. I interview my MDT....hahaha
