CT very day OTR for 10 ~ 12 Hours to make $100/Day
Simple Logic, If I Jump to CDG for same timing OTR, at least I can double my income.

Actually i also dunno on earth i landed up in TC, such a messy co with no system. 66031252 all the way to 66031257 are their admin numbers, u can call ALL but no one will pick up.
Juz imagine , in the case of an emergency ( where the panic button is ) , Can u rely on THEM to save your life????

Every TD will be insured by an insurance coy while driving the cab.
It may be considered high risk to the insurer as he got a bad record.
The insurer could have jack up his premium (and CDG unwilling to pay) or reject his case
So without an insurance, how can CDG let him drive ?

Accident track records are opened to all taxis companies. Any Taxi companies can do a check on that said TD to see his recent insurance claims.

cdg $375 after early bird discount is $275. Personally, it's a fair amount to pay. Why ? B'cos Free installation ( not those cig-hole type) & wiring all conceal swee swee. Outside market do installation probally cost $50. Also, at anytime u change your cab WITHIN cdg, they will dismantle it & re-install it to your new cab. FREE - $275-$50=$225 - $50again=$175 a bit of $ also need to go to com coffer as the staff hv to take on extra role to view video n print them. Like that where got earn so much.... Why tis Lta cam's evident can hold its weigh in court is b'cos cabby hv no access to the video & thus cannot tempered de recording. "heard fr de horses mouth"= if u want to view ONLY, download as cd rom then can. Tis kiasu taxi uncle bought one . cheers

Tis kiasu taxi uncle bought one . cheersIt should be FREE. And all taxi companies should be made COMPULSORY to have cameras installed in their taxis...with recordings on both sides, front for accident and back for threats to driver, like robbery and fare cheats.
LTA should review their take on camera intruding into the privacy of passengers, what privacy is needed when travelling from point A to B or C....unless doing acts that cannot be seen in public. Cameras recordings made not accessible to drivers but only by authorised personnel should suffice to ensure this 'privacy' thingy.
Safety is a top priority in workplaces. Taxi Drivers have a right to their SAFETY safeguarded too. Airbags must be one such feature too, not new fancy cars with high rentals, I would rather be paying for peace of mind.

Had occasionally received messages on MDT from police, 'Have any drivers pick up so and so from where to where'.
Cameras that RECORD THE INSIDE of the taxi can help the police in their investigations.

Don't know why Taxi companies in Singapore don't invest in better camera system to protect their vehicle, driver, passengers and national security. Bus/MRT got camera.

At least it's lockable, only company can access so driver won't anyhow upload to YouTube, FB or STOMP.

Nowadays, I always pick up leftovers. At 0010hrs main road near geylang lorong 10 two blue interview and let go. So, I take lor. SengKang and Yishun. Ask pax why blue don't take, replied " they say sengkang I don't want "
Funny $28 for 30mins job nobody wants.

I'm still new, but all I know is around that time if go north, then cab will be empty if you driving back to town. At least if go tampines, after that can go airport. If before 11pm go yishun or woodlands still not bad, can go night safari, then go town fetch checkout to airport
