Today just received my deposit of $1296.70.
14 days, even though the contract says 21 days.
That means they deducted $203.70 ($190 exclude GST)
Got a bump in front. I think some truck reverse and bump my front when I parked in the Industrial Park. I dont know who and the guy already dissappeared. If I report, I am just asking for trouble.
OK lah. If I go fix, I think will cost more.

Contract indeed presented 21 days to return deposit , if no accident to dig , fine .
Any scratches or dent , deposit surely be deducted .
Once accident history , one can bye bye to their money with 50-50 cases .
Once they got chance , they will whack u .
Two accident free cases got the deposit back with less in return , does that mean Trans are not desperate ?
So we should cover up the truth , what about those who were victimised ?

Actually ct2220 will know some stories , just that he do not want to tell .... Not to stir ct2220 in . LV82's our good coconut juice friend , i brought him in , brought him to coconut tree .
LV82 wanted to quit TransCab .
And TransCab told LV82 , his 50-50 cases will be converted into 100% at fault , meaning he still need to top up further $1070 after resignation . ( he already paid $1070 )
After 6 years , then will get back his $1070 if found he is not at fault .
Any other taxi company practise this way ?
Last time TransCab also dun practise such ways , only recently .
Comfort got such practise , 50-50 become 100% fault after resign ?

And worst , such practise was never indicated at all inside all hirer's contract .
Hirer's contract stated Big Big , $2140 if found at fault .
That is absolutely fine with me .
Accident at fault , for many years , it's $2000 bye bye .

There is no contract whatsoever to tell hirers there is such ruling in TransCab .
All it's about just talking ....
All is about their own discretions .
Suka they say , got they say , dun have your say .
Cos the money in their hand .

If insurance companies do have such practise ..... their contract for hirers must be written clearly ...... Just like amended constitutions . Must go thru Parliament , debate , President to endorse the amended constitutions .
There is contract stated anything wrong with their vehicle , cost must to bore by the hirer ..... that's is the max .
Amount ?
Like Crabs ...... raining season crabs more expensive .
Like some said , where is the transparencies ?

There must be a cap written nicely .... not quote and decided by the incharge .

I started this thread not to counter anyone but to produce some facts at least some will not get swayed by tia kong.
Before i returned my cab ,These are the following remarks that was made to me which made me worried sick.
(1) Your deposit hard to get back , my friend 1 year liao still havent get
(2) your side like this accident , sticker missing , TC will ask u to spray the whole door , worse case , spray the whole car!
(3) Your bumper like this , TC will change the whole bumper and whack u.
(4) U better go hiong , 15 days dont pay them then let them tow back.
In my mind , i was thinking my deposit hong kan liao since everyone seems to say the same thing.
But that was not the case, so dun just see 1 side of the story.

As for my case, I drove with them 2 months and due to my hirer to request for reporting an unidentified accidents (See below) and thus TC charged me $1070. After a few months later, I called and they still mentioned that I have an accident case which will pending for 6 years if I paid the $1070 or else they will terminate me and forfeited the deposit.
During that time when I go to the accident department, I have made it clear that I want to know the procedure and they said that they will look into it. After just 1 day (less than 24hrs), the accident dept just called me to pay $1070 for my case as it was passdown by Ms J.
Thus, spending 2 afternoon (taking leave) to look for her, all in vain and was told to wait for hours. So, that make up my mind just not to do anything and see what happen and as expected my initial deposit of $500 was donated to TC.

Thus there maybe story behind every TC story but some maybe truth and some not, so we shall take this as sharing session. Each of us have our reason of to share or not too...
Anyway..... hope to hear more good things from TC after now...

bro bcl, is not tia kong only, is just that u return the cab at the right time now only, if u were the 1 return the cab be4 july 2011 or early then july , i think u will tell a diffrent story now.

i agreed with u , i think the forum really did help, if not i think they wont really get back thier money within the period they promised.

the facts is today when you return the taxis, they are no space even to parked the taxi, when i return last year during july, next day u oledi can see my taxi on the road liao, so the facts is that, u can see the diffrent.

what bro bowah said is truth, every tc is the same, they only hv their own interest. i remember when they were a time, cdg yard were parked with full of taxi, when you apply, whatever you said also ok, transcabs at that time long waiting list, they ask you " can you wait" long Q, if not never mind.but now vice-versus, cdg hv to wait 3-4 month, transcab on the spot.
