the 1 i see at first i thought is the crown, cause i thought the cdg camry is in white colour, only after i saw te picture mercabs posted , then i reliaze is blue.

I spotted many on trials at alexandra leng kee there, even got one wearing Cdg shirt doing the trial on Elantra, then later he did not buy it. Just try try only during his lunch time break

Trial meaning on the verge of buying, already test drive, now on trial, goes up to highway and back, but still do not want to buy, maybe go there for free buffet

Stumbling block is the COE ...... any taxi company will be wealthy enough to buy any brand , it's the COE that headache .

cdg only replacing not enlarging their fleet.
some of their sonatas and crowns on the road that start 2007 where coe are cheap till 2010
coe life is 10 years , so they need not ready bid except some old crowns replacement
2007 taxi till now about 5yrs, all they need is to transfer the balance coe to the new now.
remember lta is giving some rebate/incentive for a taxi vehicle to taken off the road 5yrs instead of 7yrs, so is how the taxi coy do their math to decide
if you see new reg plate number , than it means base on current coe. no one would be stupid to pay addition $1300 to retain number plate for nothing, another way is to do extension of coe, 5yrs
this applied to all other taxi coy also,
introducing new model with new rental rate is another way to make more profit
