Aiyah. Give and take lah. Maybe he took wrong lane. Sometime pax suddenly tell to turn left or right.
But after watching video, if he took wrong lane, he should relax and move in slowly and not rush in.

The incident in the video is a common sight OTR, it doesn't surprise me at all.
As a matter of fact, I've been seeing kiasu and arrogant TDs making similar reckless maneuvers against other TDs quite frequently.
Just witnessed an incident involving a TD that's 10x more "guai lan" than the video a couple days ago. At about 3am 3 taxis stopped side by side at the Selegie/Sophia road junction facing Serangoon. Everything was fine, the atmosphere was calm until a lady suddently appeared from about 100~150m down the road, and then started waving at the cabs.
I'm sure you guys can already figure out what is going to happen when the lights turn green.
Locally trained, crossed bred stallion named "yao gui TD" (the black horse) from the outer most lane surprises the other 2 thouroughbred (the red horses) when it cuts into the inner track at the last 20m of the track, took over the lead, and secured the win by a nose!
The intensity of the race was clearly visible....trails of black smoke filled the air, accompanied by deafening tire screeches and a long blast of the horn echoed through the streets...

Oh the race ended with the winner "yao gui TD" sticking head out and waving his hand in the air at red horse 2.
I think maybe Red horse from lane 2 blasted his horn at "Yao Gui TD" to congratulate him for the win and "Yao Gui TD" who stuck out his head, waving his hand in the air was his thank you response to red horse 2....just maybe though

Think I need to highlight that the red horse and black horse I mentioned stands for Ang bei(popular/good chance/low odds) and O bei(unpopular/unlikely/high odds) in horse racing terms. I wasn't talking about any particular company's or the type of vehicles involvement.

Chevy kuai lan? Ya they are a nuisence by ROAD HOGGING. YES such powerful machine doing 80km/h lane 1. High beam also no use. Knn must blast the horn then can.

Ya even kanna once when me doing 120km/h on CTE kanna flash high beem by a speedy TC Crown doing at least 140-150km/h. He very lucky I got pax if not sure zam big brake let him eat dust.
