Do you smoke in your cab? How you get rid of the smell?
For me I only smoke in my car when I am on the highway. Wind down the driver window about 2 inch so the higher pressure outside will suck out the air inside. After done then wind down all windows and air the whole cabin until exit the expressway.
If not expressway then will stop at car park if need arise. Because there will not be ample time to air the cabin if there is a pax flag in front of kanna call nearby.

Off aircon, wind down window to smoke. Aft done, spray dettol.

I'm a heavy smoker...use to be after every 2-3 pax must smoke liao.
But I don't smoke inside my taxi....even stand away from my taxi while smoking. Too many of my kakis been caught smoking inside or outside taxi...(check their stupid rules)
When I see those pax standing on the street and puffing away and flagging you down....I will approach in very slow speed, wait until he throw away his cigarette(usually they will chop chop take last puff)...than step on my accerater and sped off...

Electronic cigarette. No ashes and not much smell. No fire, take a few puffs and can straight away hide in pocket.

When speeding at highway lah.....open all the ash will anyhow fly back to the back seat. Stationary cannot lah....

Wah that's a good one....I also dun like those smokers take taxi very smelly. ONLY I can smoke in my cab....Heeeheee

If open only one front window, pressure inside will be higher, no wind get inside.
Open the rear window, to let the high pressure inside escape.
Cigarette smoke contains tar, nicotine, ash, these will contaminate the interior and will smell.
Those who has hepititis will find cigarette smell awfull. Don't know why.

River Valley Road near Boon Tiong Kee my friend kena fined by NEA for smoking inside his cab . He alight pax at Shanghai Road and kena photo , still mystery who took the photo ? He did not spot any NEA staffs around . I smoke anywhere except inside CBD , got lah Under CocoNut Tree smoke .

Anyway NEA fined my friend $300 just let u all know . Nowadays too many complaints from public , so agency all on high alert to catch smoking inside the public transport . Who can catch ? LTA Enforcement . NEA officer Traffic Police Police Patrol Taxi company enforcements .

Highway i smoke all windows down ... down down down . Left lane ....60km/hr ..... music ..... Finished ciggie throw inside my ash tray , an old ciggie box . Throw litter out of window also can be caught . Esp nowadays so many car camera installed for most cars .

Recently, my relief was told to pay a $30 fine to LTA for smoking in the cab. He found out only when contacted by the taxi company informing him about the offence commited.
However, he is clearly aware of the said incident, he did notice an LTA enforcement officer looked at him briefly when he was smoking in the cab on airport boulevard....but thought he was given a chance because the officer didn't say anything, no summon was issued, and no photograph taken on the spot.

I once smoke together with LTA officer at the back of grand park, I took a cigarette, but never light up, he came near me, then notice never light up, warned me not to smoke in cab, also commended my wearing like lao beng seng uncle, wearing flip flop somemore, I told him, i got HK feet, cannot wear shoe for a while, then he join me smoking at the back, no offence, both smoke in the proper area, throw at the proper place, then fark off.
Now like Tzarh, I quitted for good, expensive being one, but I find is very troublesome to spray here and there, wash here and there after smoking. end up, give up, initial was hard, weak and got withdrawer effect, but after a while, now feel much better.
I guess no matter how you spray, clean or air the cab, a non smoker pax will alway know and smell the cigarette flavour. Perhap it can help only to lesser the smell, if you smoke with aircon on, put it to air flow from outside, not internal circulate, that one will taint yr filter with the smoke smell.

My hirer smoke ang hoon, 10 times worst than cigarette smell, I alway told him, please lah, smoke outside. Then got once he tried out electric one, mouth get shocked and burnt because of leak current from the battery..asked me to look at it, then I notice it is from china make, no licence one, knn
