Originally posted by JoeRaj:LTA and their bright ideas again. Sounds very nice on paper, but is it workable in reality and for a majority of TDs?
If must have 2, who is gonna take responsibility as the hirer? Who to sent the car for service, repairs, etc? Who is gonna be in charge of paying rental?
Who gonna cover rent when 1 party is sick, on holiday, etc? Why should the burden fall on the other driver for the 1st driver problem?
How to set the timing? How to find partner that is likeable and able to work together? Is LTA fonna force hirer to take reliefs that cannot gum or vice versa? Or what if still cannot find, some stay ulu place, not many drivers available. Like that how?
Where to keep and send the vehicle? Why should 1 driver have near at home, and the other must travel if both party have equal rights as joint hirer?
What if really cannot, will taxi company be happy to collect only 1/2 rental from 1 driver? Of course not.
I dunno, got so many things to draft and plan, I think is just a another fanciful plan the LTA staff think of to please their bosses and the Minister, so it looks beautiful on paper. They get a promotion for this, the shit is forced on us and later the whole thing is scrapped after a few months or dies a natural without further mention.

10 pm to 6 am this timing is very kan dao , unless your relief have a lot of baja , he probably will end up with $XX of dollars every nite.
Mon , Tues , Thurs are steam days... jiak ka ki
Only left Weds ( can be a steam day too ) , Fri Sat and Sunday ( up to 2 am is game over).
Maybe u can consider rentin out at 9 pm.
I see some of the postings on the hirer/relief column i also wanna laugh. Sonata 10 pm to 6 am asking for $35 , another fella long ago asked for $25 from 12 mn to 6 am.
They should try to drive these hrs before setting such ridiculous prices. I wonder who will take , these timings are picking up the bones hour.
Even me , i surrender these type of hours

I'm really tempted to take up the 2.0 Wish, but the way Transcab handle things really hold me back from making the commitment. Really a tough decision to make.
Just another stupid question: How would you compare the car performance between 2.0 Wish to Sonata?
Performance Wish on petrol can whack Sonata. But on CNG can only smell smoke. Diesel pick up good but up to 80-100km/h no good. Petrol mode Wish 2.0 can pick up all the way to 140-150km/h no sweat.
Wish on petrol . . . quiet and stable , even at 140km/hr , very stable . Steering never shake .
Sonata at 140km/hr , the feel was like wheel dis-attached from the ground .
wait til u drive Kia Magentis , u can cry .
Kia Magentis really one cannot make it vehicle to drive .

The fastest speed I ever drove was 110km - 120km/hr for over taking. When travelling on expressway, I usually maintain at 80km - 90km/hr.
At the speed of 140-150km/hr, I think, my 2 balls will drop on the floor.

Didn't know Wish is such a powerful car, cause the outllook of the car is quite timid.
