My Comfort friend banged into people .... went to several workshop to survey cost .... In the end , Tan Lim quote the cheapest . Some quote $700 , some quote $600 , some $500 ..... Tan Lim quoted his repair $480 . Workmanship ? Okay lah , so so . Can see being repair .

As for Daiha ..... all my hirer say okay leh , both service and workmanship . And pricing wise now heard a bit costlier . Rotary Tan's method in handling Ah Lim , the boss , very easy one . Just throw Ah Lim the vehicle , never ask the price . Get Ah Lim to get the things done . Come back than pay him . Don't worry he conned you , dun ask surely cheaper than if u asked . KNN like that ? Funny enough Rotary Tan said Ah Lim pattern is like that .

It's towkay mentality lah, price say high also want discount, give reasonable price also want discount, don't quote price also keep on pestering cheap cheap cheap.
So how? if i am running a retail shop, i will say higher price.
A lot of people and especially TD very hard to please one.
If Pax on taxi stand or on the street ask me : Is your boarding fee higher than the other cab? or is your meter price any different from the other cab? Si liao, i will answer big difference and pointed them to take other cab.
Ah Lim can be expensive hor...can do free also if his mood swing....

I used to go Da Fa but seem like Ah Lim price going up. So I switch to a workshop at Sin Ming near to LV kiosk. Boss is Mr Wong also LV old bird's friend. Very nice uncle and price reasonable. That time my Wish bumper kanna pole deform quite badly. He repair for me only charge me $60 nia and spary bumper $120. Another time my Mercs mount kerb the front bumper got pull out and also the bracket inside a bit crooked. He ask his worker do for me. About 30-40min job need to pull out the bracket and knock back into place. Ask him how much he says kopi money can liao. So I pass him $20 he happily accept.

Block 14 , Sin Ming Sector B ...... should be LakeView's "Authorised Dealer" ..... 44 kaki must be solid one , his experience in driving taxi me and TCL both add up also not enough .

Ya 44 every day afternoon will be there kopi with Mr Wong. Very nice guy. I go let him do the Mercs bumper on a Sat morning he still jio me join him and a neighbour shop worker/boss kopi behind his shop. Got a stone table and 2 bottle of kopi/tea to drink.

My taxi got a dent and scratches on my left front bumper (SMRT Epica). Any seniors could advise me which workshop to go? I'm a relief and hoping the job can be done within 1 day. Appreciate for your time and advice soon.

Yes it is called Hiap lek. The boss very nice one. I repair my side skirting also he didn't charge me workmanship. He is a very nice man, helps people around the estate, buys lunch, gives ang pao during CNY.
Heck he can even speak a bit of Tamil!
