There is a small group of FT which i like them a lot.
Uncle, Lor 13. - She came up my Cab at Lor 19 at 7pm. Meter still never jump yet so fare was $3.40+$0.85 when reached. Gave me $5. "keep the change"
This type of FT is Good ! They make people happy and TD happy.

Sometimes short distance, and pax 'pu hou yi si' so they give more.
Definitely better than those $12, but pay $10. This type I experienced. Singaporean, wearing long sleeves, work at Phillips Toa Payoh, in his late twenties. But I dont find trouble, just pray that he dont do this anymore.

By the way, you guys should not be unhappy with the FT.
They are human just like you and me.
The reason why our island is flooded with them is because our policies are flawed.
I dont hate them, I hate our policies.

Not say we look down, but generally the higher their social scale or employment, the worse their attitude.
The lower educated ones, or those doing really fucked up jobs like construction, maid etc are generally the most well behaved.
But generally I have never gotten angry with Burmese, Thai, Indonesian, in fact all our Asean neighbours except Filipinos.
I would ranked the Burmese as the top, they are very polite and respectful. Only problem is they stay too far away like CCHK, Woodlands or Jurong West, go there after 10 pm can kiss goodbye to finding pax.

Geyland ah, yes, Vietnam girls also not bad, everytime give uncle me extra for short trip to joo chiat and vice versa. You smile at them, they smile back one, unlike sg girls, you smile at them, they think you tiko, good for nothing, see you no up, never even smile back, and most look ugly or out of shape.
Singapore is now having 40% of it population make up of FTs, if you are really talented, I do not mind you really come here and help our economy, but I notice out of these 40%, 30% are Foreign Trash, at any one time, we the Taxi uncle IQ, EQ, communication skills, manners and graciousness are much better than them. It is really a mockery of our country. And if you want to put it into satistics, we, Singapore is the only country with such high percentage foreign against the local, the other one can be Dubai, but dubai is a new land make out of desert, and the Arabs there enjoy life from foreigner coming to work for them, the Govt plough back the money gain from Foreign levies, taxation and economic gain to the locals.
But our is different, base on meritorcracy, meaning you hv to earn your own living base on your merit and credit, any ah neh with a bought certifcate from Chennai can come here and order you...turn left, turn right..hey you go wrong way, no cheating ok...carry my bags..just imagine, a diploma holder with years public services, be it in navy or army or civil servants, discipline, compassionate, serve the NS and end up having to take order from a nobody from rural India or China. Isn't it we looks like a fool to others.
In ancient times, powerful kingdom, dynasty, empire repay it citizen with good life and wealth for their contribution, and all those foreigners are make slave or lower rank workers to serve them, but in our country, we serve the foreigners make of trashes

Fully agree with JoeRaj. Those higher social scale one (especially Indian from India) is always the worst lot. They think they are high and mighty and i understand they really look down on TD. I m more happy to take the lower educated ones like construction workers, they are much more polite.
Most of us knew the "policies" problem (like what mentioned by StriveOn & bowah) but these policies maker will not understand the ground issues becos they will never face it themselves (or their kids).
I drove one Pax from Swenden, she commented S'pore is really a nice country to live in. The country has done very well. BUT her next comment was really a big Slap to the policies maker - "Is a pity that a rich country like S'pore has so many old age people has to be cleaner at Hawker Centre & Food court. She has never seen this in any other countries."
What can I say more.

Some high educated ah neh also give tips. But mostly those older ones in their 40-50s. Young ones mostly yaya papaya....

Yes, but in social life of singapore, as a casket driver, u know lah.Like I go relatives/friends gathering, be it wedding or someone birthday or BBQ, peoples said they are TD, still acceptable, bu when I say I drive casket van, many of these knnccb will look down on you, evade you and do not even bother to talk to you.
So, those who want to drive Casket, be prepare that your social status in the society, like it or not, will be down down down lonely.
Many times meet relatives outside while driving casket, some siam me, some just manage to say hello, then quickly walk away, last time not like this, at least talk to you about this and that, even my childrens last time schooling also asked me, what to write in father occupation, casket's driver or just driver. I told them write jobless.
Last time, my kids go sport or outside activities somewhere in singapore, I told them I am on my way from mandai or adjunied, can pick them up, they straight away say no no no, later my friends see me in casket van.

Most Pinays & some tourist esp from RWS & AP are quite nice in saying keep the change. And also those from AP to their office who can claim from company, they always ask me for written reciept and put $40 instead of $36.70... also make my day.

Whether the person is good or not so subjective... got nothing to do with FT or not.. You can meet a person who is kind and usually nice, but if he bad mood that day, he will also be shitty to you mah..

I think there isn't much problem with FT for most of us, just that some of them who are being serve in their own country like King and Queen and expect people here to serve to them like king and queen and in turn treat other like slave or their own land servants.
There is this theory of evolution and adaptation, you evoluate when you work in other country, you also slowly adapt to them, not the other way round whereby you expect the people of that country to evoluate and adapt to your style. That should be put clear into all FTs mind. Mutual respect is the key to graciousness.
For Singapore, at the end of the day, who can blame no one but ourselves, I asked one FT on why he come here, he said, he was invited by Singapore govt, and your govt represent you, so I am invited by you, and as guest here, should not your treat me like a guest. The key word here is INVITED, not that we wanted to come, you open your door, go my country and promote job, we came and see, you provide peace and harmony with good Sing dollars to earn, so I came, saw and conquerored.
Then I asked him if he had wonder FT here had resulted in local depressive wages and less job opportunties, crowded public transport and no beds in hospitals. He told me that our govt told him, he is here to create job for singaporeans, help the economy so that singaporeans can get a better living, and since I am kind of helping you, you should serve me well.
Then I said, created taxi job for me, oh thank you very much
