Comfort drivers with Ipad .....

Saw a group of Comfort drivers all with ipad ..... pressed dunno what ?
Later like interchange network , i exchange this one with you ....
Heard "advance booking" u go , this he go , which one who go etc .....
Heard 3am , i sms you , heard 4am , i sms you , heard 4.30am , i sms u .

Then funny enuf .... heard from one of my LV member .
Now all Comfort's Advance Jobs , all simultaneously to sent both MDT and Iphone/Ipad .
Not like previous , sent to MDT , then discarded one , then resent to Ipad/Iphone .

So basically now ....MDT will be more quiet than usual .
Cos all jobs taken up , not all , most . Think will be less repeat order .
I predict more cancellations of advance bookings . Cos drivers anyhow like those Ipad drivers , just bid whatever that came in .
Then CDG implement new ruling for Cancellations of Advance Booking .

Soon Advance Booking will be Auto Advance Call .
No destinations listed .
Time and date all computerise generated .
More to be retrenched in CDG call centre .

How i wish a Singapore very own IT network , merge all call centre of TransCab , Premier , Prime , SMRT and Smart into one single network , which is similiar to CDG .
And give CDG a run for their money .

u wait long long. u retire , i retire , the young fellas like komade retire also u wont see this happening.
CDG invested 20 mil on their booking system and constantly upgraded their software. who got 20 mil? TC? Silver?
UNLESS got one huge co willing to invest and LTA approve then can if not wait long long.

I think they are just using their ipad to log on to CDG's driver's portal to bid for advance jobs and chit chatting about the advance booking jobs that they managed to get.

I think the advance jobs are not simultaneously sent to MDT and iphone/ipad. lol They send the jobs to our MDT and also the driver's portal...
As I have mentioned in my previous post, the driver's are most probably just using their iphone/ipad to access the driver's portal to look at available advance jobs. All untaken advance job is in there.
Think of it this way, if 2 or more pax call to book for advance job at the same time how to falsh them all on the MDTs? MDT can only show one at a time and if we don't reject it stays on there for maybe 5-10 seconds right?

iphone/ipad app bid job faster than PC driver's portal or any web driver's portal!
i try using iphone bid job app n pc web driver's portal(all press at same timing)
job appear at iphone but web driver's portal dun have?
And
i try iphone loggin A cab plate number n galaxy note loggin B cab plate number
(#mon- fri drive A cab,sat drive B cab)
all press in same timing
some A.job appear at iphone but again galaxy note dun have!!
Really sick of the booking from them!
april i got 1xx booking
but may n june.....0nly 40-60
(sometime their booking just like ah pool mention b4,so i put scheme B most of the time)
BUT...may n june overall income better than april which the month got lot of booking!

Oh, that mean, in conclusion Iphone is better, nos 1 here, follow by galaxy, no wonder I see so many on call nowaday, also good for me, cos I sweeper, no iphone or galaxy, only Nokia 3210 sold to me by a bangala going back home, just sweep and use MDT, cdg MDT not bad, use it if you are driving cdg, because like it or not, you already paid the hidden cost in our rental without any monthly rebate.But of course the young TDs today like to use PC, smartphone and so on, it is good that they do it, because in near future, most properly, all calls will be operatorless, but in the meantime, I still hv to compete with some old bird like my brother Ct, sweep sweep and sweep

bro, if you keep track the booking, from the time u start bid till end of trip..
the no. of time spend vs $ collected u'll know why.
