Recently I had a similar incident at one of Clarke Quay's taxi stand, the 1st taxi stand just after Zirca. It was a quiet weekday late evening, slow moving, I was 3rd in Q I think.
Suddenly pax hop in and started telling me his destnation, I interrupted and told him that I won't be able to move out until the 2 taxis in front of me pick up their fare. Can you kindly take the cab in front of the queue please?
Pax said Wa lao eh, I don't like the old manual taxi...must wait long or not?
I say it depends, but see for yourself...are there many people taking cab at the moment?
Pax got out, slams door. walk to the side of the road and boarded another cab that was beside me...who just alighted his pax.

It's suppose to be a very clear cut case, not even debatable. For the few that don't understand before, Hope you can develope better TD ethics. Those that kenna same situation in future, I urge you stand your ground. There bound to be TDs behind to help you. I for one if behind sure come down help you. I did salute to the third Epica brother from my cab and he smile back. No reason how I will not return the same favours to fellow TDs.

move out for what, td faults not to have credit card meh, LTA rule? if want to pay cashless, wait till the available one come lah, when i got pax hop in because of credit card, but can't move out , i happily start meter and sit back and relax. even if pax ask me, i say can't move out since being block, if want ask pax to go talk thier own to the driver lor, why should i get engage with fellow tds, then might a well tell all taxi without credit facility not to go taxi stand? -

Open bonnett .... open boot bring bottle of water ....
Walk back to bonnett , drip by drip , drip into reservoir for wiper .
Drip until full liao , drip into radiator , make sure got steam come out .
Drip into where u think need water .......

If I were you I will not on meter, let Pax sit shiok a bit if you want to keep them. Since you describe it's a period of 1 pax : 10 Taxi time. U don't lose anything but might save you a bit of time.
Or be the Jiao Lang and horn, ask the 2 crown in front to move.

taxi driver Q to wait for pax, so like wise pax who only restricted to certain type of payment should wait patience for their turn,
CDG big F, then let me ask, not to mentioned other time, just pass 1 week, how many CDG driver has the courtesy to tell pax that i was first in the Q? ( normally pax, family) then should i get down and start something with the driver? no point right, let it be, tds can waited to get out of Q should not deprive other td a living, cannot wait and be the early bird to jump now from sands lah,

under lta rule, if pax insist to take your cab though you are 1st in Q, you must take since you have advise, you cannot reject and if jam inside, just wait for your turn to move off, pax has their right of choice but must accept such situation -

Fully agree, if taxi stand states the no of taxis and my presence there is within the limit, I will never entertain private car that cut in to wait for pax. They must wait for me to get my pax 1st.
If I am exceding the required number, then maybe I will reverse and let them out. Taxi stand is for taxis.

Saw two chryslers been forced to move out. one happened at golden mile complex. pax refuse to take n the black car still dun move out, 5 cabs (different colour) started to horn him when pax walk out to take cab from the outer lane.
second one happened at lucky plaza, paxs at the taxi stand started to signal the black car to move out as they want only normal taxi.finally the security had to come out n chase the black away.

So he must drive Comfort ? Cos nobody taking his cabs ?
No right ? What he can earn , comfort can only smell smokes .
But he dun move out , behind taxis still will be lan lan .

Weehu, Maybe I not on the road enough. I have not seen Chrysler go in Single queue lane. Those Black car brothers also I don't think dare try. They themself know they different league, I have seen them queue only when Taxis behind can pass. If the chrysler want to wait at Golden mile pick Thai people go Geylang or waiting for coronation drive residents go Golden mile shopping for tom yam , the driver must be noob. Many of us have stated the correct ethics as a TD. Please ponder over it. Ethics takes time to comprehend, otherwise just behave like many other Singaporeans, everything must give specific instructions. But on the road I see I sure have to fcuk one. As a TD I cannot watch and do nothing when another fellow ricebowl kenna knock so hard.

there are particular reasons why some black cabs wait out at certain taxi stands in CBD area...
their target pax not those in taxi Q...
they can wait as long as it takes for a durian to drop...

theoritically he has the right not to move off,but all the other passengers waiting cannot take any cabs,they will start shouting and cursing at u!that's what happen to me at Golden Mile!until u force to move off!

Ok. I am at a point I'm convinced when people don't get it means they don't get it. So non-blue TDs out there, this situation will be expected and do know how to handle it.
