Actually SMRT is quite clever , they knew they won't get any old timer drive for them , so they must well go for the newbies' market , which they pushed alot for them to get that Epica . And newbies' market is big .
Premier is never never an aggressive taxi company , as far as i ma concern .
They apparently makes no effort to grap the newbies' market .
They have to know everyday there is many new people graduated from the taxi academy .

I think they never interested in newbies .
Cos when they launched the Hyundai i30 , rental is good .
I thought they do it on purpose , slapped a 2 years contract for their i30 .
So newbies dare not sign for them .

Premier has to be contented for being number ...... 4 in the taxi industry , behind CDG , Trans and SMRT , for a long time .
They can actually overtake SMRT .....

Being Nos 4 is good to them, they got other business, their car rental business is good, also got van and buses renting out. Beside that, their bosses also got other property and financial businesses, taxis is just a 10% of their annual return business.However, they go for Singaporeans workforce, lean but not mean, so their overhead is not running at a high cost, unlike cdg, TC and Smrt, they got no government intervention, and unlike those other companies, in a lean workforce, they got not so much jia liao bee govern peoples/scholars up there taking high paid and do nothing except exploiting TD.
