TC Epica SHD 9551, 15/06 on the road, 16/06 accident 。。。。。。
Jus t went to Fish market to replace my Red Fire Engine Head Light Bulb.
(It have been One Eyed Jack for few days)Saw the tow truck bring back one Brand New Epica SHD 9551.
As usual In less than 5 mins, TC 慈禧太� with 5~6 Ah Pek （�莲英）arrived to parade the badly damage Epica.
According to Jasmine Tan, SHD 9551 was brand new from factory, on the road on 15/06/2012.
Drove by a Rookie, 16/06/2012 (The next day) accident and was tow back by TP.
Only till this morning TP then release to Transcab.
Look at the condition of the Cab Plus without Airbag, I believe the rookie TD should still in ICU.
A word to all Bros and Sist (Rookie or Old B ird), Drive with Care.

Those management and those bor lan pa looking around the cab is thinking about $$$. If we as Taxis brother in arm also think of it, then we are not much different from them.
No doubt $$ is king, but in such situation, kindness prevail

whack or no whack is big issue for any TD. If all are conscious of the $$ risk involved, maybe those chin hor tan TD will slowly shut up. Business is business. Kindness doesn't exists sometimes.

Kindness is within, it that rookie happen to be gone (touch wood) at ICU, if he got 2 going school kids, old parent and a struggling wife to care for, will we be still talking abt 2140 or 4280?It could be a lesson for the rookie to learn, an expensive learning school fees that have to bear the pain of injury, the lost of income and paid out. And after all, it might not that he is wrong.

Just you look at Cdg spoke person, Tammy Tan, very well trained, whatever happen to a cabby in accident or slashed or robbed, her first statement is alway, "we are more concern about our cabby welfare and health"

I have not drive for almost 10 years and it took me about a week to understand my Epica.
The turning radius, the body length, the brakes, the pickup.
I don't have a problem to parallel park my hyundai elantra, honda accord. but when I tried to parallel park the Epica along geylang lor 9 (for frog leg porridge), I give up after 2 tries with a lorry waiting behind. Lane is too narrow, Epica's body lenght too long.
Even my MSCP is a bit short for Epica. If I go all the way back, the back bumper will touch the wall.

And fxxking pls ask every epica driver to turn the fxxking rear fog lamps off! Stupid irritating fxxcks.
