Sigh.................
$80 for tyre scratch? Something wrong somewhere. Not say he going to replace them. Ask for 2nd opinion, plus no need to pay straightaway. Not happy ask go down comfort talk. This issue can settle one.
Don't worry about $1000 deposit, comfort allow for minor repairs to be done outside.

The scratch is quite deep on one small area, and the rim is dented. I mounted curb at a carpark in a condominium. He replace immediately or not, is not my concern, I pay him $95 for the damage that I created and finish off our partnership. Will make it a point to check the exterior of the car everytime before I handover in future. So that no dispute.

Thanks, I found an ah bung hirer for Sat & Sun around my area, and slowly find another hirer for Tues, Wed and Fri. Only want to drive 5 days/week for now until my body can adapt to night shift. No point work 7 days a week end up sick or not performing well on certain nights and keep early.

Bro, for sun, better take the day shift. Ask for rental discount cos hirer can rest on tat day.
Bro, thanks for your advice. I understand that Sunday late morning and afternoon have good passenger connection, after 12am, it's almost dead at most places.
One of the reasoon why I choose to work night shift is due to my endurance to the sun. Have been working in doors with strong air-con for the past years. I get sick easily if I worked under the sun continuosly for hours. Problematic? Yes I am.
I really like driving on Sunday evening, as I can autoroam in the CDB freely without worrying of ERP restriction yet collect the $3 surcharge all the way till 12am, anything after 12am is a bonus for me.
Another thing is there are no bus lane hours kind of crap, really hate buses, such a big killing machine, suka suka force their way in and out of lane dangerously. I find that buses like to challenge taxi, lot's of them have the kind of attitute " Whether you bang me or I bang you, you also more worse than me".
Hi all bros out there, I reffered to some earlier post made some time ago, talking about the blind spot mirror that are fixed on top of the wing mirrors for Sonata, pricing $16 (Kimchi made), and $13 (Ah Tiong made).
Where can I buy Them?
One man's poison is another man's meat. Luckily taxi drivers have different driving style and preference. Or else, the road will have over/under supplies of taxi on certain days/hours/areas. What a wonderful world.

Found a hirer around my area, about 5 mins walk away from home. Both happy man, I drive 6 days/wk, he don't like Sunday, I like, so rental $70 for whole day, just one additonal trip can cover. 2yrs car, very good hand feel steering and new interior. He prefer sun, I prefer darkness, so 6pm - 6am shift.... shiok!
Bought a pair of blind spot mirrors fixed on top of the wing mirrors for spotting car coming at high speed from behind, so I can be prepared to prevent kenah side sweep at night. Too many jia kia at night.
Cost - $10 each
