I am also thinking of shifting from CDG diesel to shell or esso diesel. since i have a night relief who pumps from CDG i think it wont benifit if i fill up with outside diesel and he fill up cdg diesel , only option to charge him for diesel and ask him to leave money i have no ideas as to what to charge for night shift diesel as there is more ideling on queues which doesnt refelect on odo meter any Ideas from seniors as what to charge per kilometer keeping in mind mine is a 4 + year old Sonata

Tell him your reasons why u switching to Esso .
And let him decide .
If he still support CDG diesel , let him do it .
Use the once "tuck" , filled up nearest dollar method .
Surely no disputes .
Like my hirer never pump diesel type ..... and never pay me type .
So i run and top up diesel , base on litres .
Like every night i run 300km ..... i'll tell myself , i would need at least 30L .
If i run 280L , i would need 28Litres of diesel .
Or
I will use mileage x $0.15
Say 280km x $0.15 , i need to pay at least $42 , so i pump swee swee $42 for my own usage .
And show receipt to him .
Show receipt no disputes one .
Date , Time , amount of litres , amount of dollars etc details .
It's a honest procedure , i want to show him , i dun eat him .
If he insist of eating me , i let it be .
I lose nothing .

How to explain ?
Ok Sonata full tank is say 100% .
When it's about 95% full , will tuck !
Then u filled up to nearest dollar , meaning fuel tank only has got say 96% full tank .
Space about 4% , that is about 7-8 litres if u slowly squeeze in .
If both practise that , easy .
But our taxi fuel meter will show full tank .
Then correct reading , about 90km used , then the fuel meter then will come down .
U'll need to take about 10 minutes to slowly squeeze 7-8 litre of diesel inside Original Sonata .
Unless u modify before .
If knn Sin Ming everyone practise squeeze to the last drop .... knn taxis can q until AMK !!!
Brother, you r right, when the nozzle detected the fuel, it tuck.
There is this hirer near my house who fucked his relief, yes, the rule is wait for it to tuck, but the hirer say relief push the nozzle deep into the fucking hole, the nozzle tuck faster, so end up, the nozzle depth in the fucking hole also become a problem..., like this how?
I super relief for him will alway tell him, ok let set nozzle all way in, you do the same, i do the same.
U sometimes listen , u will hear that the diesel is coming to the top .
The best i felt ......
Dun press nozzle to max .... to level 3 .
press level 2 , let the diesel flow slower .

Usually when you drive at full tank, you see the fuel meter go now very fast, you know, knn, all air inside, fucker cheated me.
Cdg got this notice at some of it station, fast auto, slow no auto knn
But anyway, I dun mind all these little thing, just some cannot see open hirer and relief problem, I alway top up full and above, wash at kiosk, inside also clean, if bulb blow, front or rear, change for hirer, top up wiper water, end up many calling for me
for me, i calculate the diesel i use, tell my relief the figure, he just deduct from the rental he should pay, day 1 till now, no dispute, why, never try to calculate zun zun.
like $26.50, or $30.2 , i just round up to nearest dollars, cos that few cents is consider sving me the hassle to to kisok or extra trip i can do from the time saving.

its not being petty , he and i have a nice arrangement i hand over full tank he returns back full tank no disagreement , no need to use use first or second tuck , mine can top up without any shake shake in 3 min flat mine moded one
i want to switch to esso diesel only way to do it is i fill it up for him also and he dont need to do it that way he still get his full tank and pay me according to millage he use but night shift is different from day shift , i dont queue airport , i dont queue anywhere except "my coconut tree" in Tampines and wait for durian to fall (not telling which one it is ) where as night shift only way to do business is to queue a lot hence a lot of ideling of engine and the stright formula of millage X 0.12 or 0.13 doesnt work out all i am trying to find out as to what amount is standard for night shift keeping ideling consumption in mind

But i like to follow mercedes behind, especially on where to Q (except AP Q) and sweeping road, cos when pax see me, there is a high chance they will reject the mercs, , what to do, I cheapo TD only ferry cheapo pax

I think this is once in a blue moon and only certain group will choose. Most of the time, all cheapo pax will take the colorful one except white and black and sometime silver.
Like that day, in the RWS, after queuing a while, I'm finally the third in the queue and in front me is blue and the 1st one is silver. 2 pax come and the cheapo well dressed lady pax (first pax) immediately skip the first one and hop onto the blue. The next pax puzzled and just hop on the silver. Imagine is just in the mid Sat morning that pax also choose taxi.
But anyway does idling will cost more diesel? I put to neutral will waiting and I though is ok? Not sure can someone enlight?
