Was mentioning to a friend that i know of a forum where there are many uni grads who end up being Taxi drivers , so he is lookin for someone with these criterias for his work place.
1. Bachelors degree with honours in Biological Sciences
2. 21 days annual leave per year, 60 days medical leave per year, up to three months bonus, full employee CPF
3. 5 day work week.
4. $3000 per month. 1 year contract to be auto-renewed at the end.
5. 3% increment annually and opportunities for promotion depending on performance.
6. Ideally staying within 30 minutes by public transport to Buona Vista

Contract so got Medical and Annual leave? Medical benefits? Dental? AWS? Bonus? If contract got all these ok lah. If not same like driving taxi leh. Sick also take no pay leave. Long hours somemore....Lol

bachelor for limousine study can or not?

todays employer are spoilt with choice, they got almost the whole world to choose from.
1)Educational Requirement - thats fair enough for a specific job
2)Hardworking? , that means the job is schedule at min 12 hour per day
3)$3000 per month.... after a dreakdown of total number of working hour, you are getting somewhere below $2000 as Basic salary
4)Our MRT are moving slower nowsaday, 30mins journey is very short leh. (btw, why they even border about it)
My friends as a Clerk in a Freight Forward company, holding 3"O" level, same working hour, are drawing more the $3000.
This is a wayssssss under paid offer.
And sad that this is mostly what we got...........haiz

Month $2500 . KNNBCCB only $2500 , Bachelor Degree , knnbccb $3000 very good liao .

Got another one . Worker's Party Pritam Singh queries in Parliament about that $1.1 billion gift to SBS transit and SMRT . Read liao then u know why opposition is needed to ask Qns that are so cheem our forefathers and us never even thot of.

Not really interested in Political issues, but good one will follow 1 or 2...still prefer tcss.
Recent years too many forums on Political and they blast this government like nobody business...

Juz trying to help a friend and maybe another uni grad turned taxi driver whom might see this may wanna give it a shot.

WTF. Good local Uni grad still LL do low pay job and drive taxi?
They wanted to keep quiet and let the society rot their life? They forget their parents supported them their studies?
No wonder those so called FT can bloosom that much and make away with so high pays, drive posh car, live in condos....blah..blah..blah...! €uro is unstable, but economic here is still a bit okay.
If you smart enough and can't do anything or don't bothers, then have to serve you guys right and not blame anybody. Me only 2 O levels, no choice have to drive, but you guys should fight for your future if still young.

My opinion is , taxi driving is never a long term solution for younger generation with a degree .
Reason ?
U eventually need to secure a job , so that CPF allow you to loan when buying a flat .
CPF need to see your last 3 years CPF contributions , without it , it takes alot of trouble to go thru those relevant documents they required .
Self employed never easy to purchase a brand new HDB flat .
I haven't seen one cabby that when need to buy a HDB flat , they no need to see their MP .
In some cases , see MP also no use .

Degree holders , young people like early 30's .
Still single . . . bachelor
Taxi driving can never find u a wife . Unless a foreign bride .
Esp OMO .
Sleep also not enuf liao , what social lifestyle u want ?

Unless u are the only son , married with 2 kids , the house eventually will be yours ..... plus u have no intentions to buy one .
Then taxi driving maybe still can .
But i still advise younger generation degree holder not to waste that 2 chances in purchasing brand new HDB flat .
The 2 chances that u can loan from CPF instead of private bankings .
