Bus Lane summon,payback time

long time ago kena $130 for entering bus-lane just before Tai Seng Link (now no entry). That time help pax "hurry, hurry". Learned my lesson hard way.
Today, pax say "Jln Afiffi, Certis Cisco, hurry ,hurry!" Me tell pax "Jammm lah"
Pax say "late liao, wait my pay kena gantong"
As usual, (oso happen to be on Upp Paya lebar), he kanchiong and he ask me hurry again. I reply cannot unless chiong bus-lane but har, last time one of your brothers humtum me with big fat fine . Sorry but wait i kena gantong.
Now u guys in blue know how we pay for your ( and other pax who are always late) tardiness.

sinec the pax is a cisco staff (we presume)... all the more he should know tat bus lane cannot go in...
no point risk $130 for pax...

Ask him put $130 on the dashboard first. No $ no talk. If no kanna then I keep the $130 no need meter fare. Ai fight mai?

Never mind... I ever see taxis getting pwned for running into bus lane... end up cannot filter out, stucked inside the bus queue

If says when we turn out from minor road to major road and we are at the broken yellow bus lane but unable to merge into the normal lane due to cars dun want to give way. Then we stop and wait but still no cars allow you to filter out. Then came a SBS bus unable to proceed into the bus lane because you have block the lane. So in this senario is the vehicle blocking the bus in the wrong? The bus have to LLST wait for you to move first right? Because we are technically not in the wrong as we are not in the bus lane but cannot filter out.

Used to know someone working for Cisco and it is true. If they are late, they can be fined as high as their daily pay. Now if you as a TD use bus lane, you will be caught by them and fined as high as your daily pay. Catch 21 situation.Guess who is laughing all the way to the bank?
You did correct in following the rules to the dot. But if the pax complain you drive slow or are rude, you have to drink coffee in Sin Ming. That is why I think it would be benificial to TDs' to have some sort of recorder in vehicle. Just my 2c worth.

No lah, cisco hv to report on time, from there, their supervisor will delegate jobs to them, their vans will bring them to different location, some, due to opposite location, their supervisor will order in group of 4 to take cab and use net or cabcharges.Now if you are late, jialak liao, van left, duty assigned, cabs left, the supervisor may had taken over your place, then you get paid cut and bad name

when i kena that summon, the cisco was filming at the turning into Tai Seng Link.
so the front 2 cars and me, (last 10 m of bus lane only) turn-in, he dun give chance. Saw the 1st car owner stop to plead but he bo-chap, wave the guy off, "mo tuck keng"
Me squeeze balls hard,hard, no chance appeal liao.
So all new TDs please dun give chance, use my experience to tell pax if they pressure you.
Like some of the bros here say, put $130 on dashboard first

i ever send an email to lta on this, but their reply tell you bus lane rule and other story just avoid answering me about if i should move on or stop -

I had sent email to SPF many times...knn, no action taken..CDG say not happy don't take their call...who's know where they on call from? But for me, straight cancel their call even I arrived on the spot...won't give them face 1, unless they in civilian...

Kena at Upper Bukit Timah Road just before Hindhede Road, also last 10 meter of buslane. $130 for a bit of buslane not worth it. So wrote in to appeal. Say make U turn infront of Shell petrol statiion, too wide and fast on coming cars cannot get out of bus lane. Apologise to LTA and promise won't go into bus lane in future.
Summon waived with warning.
After that, always notice LTA blue vest and motorcycle around the steps of the overhead pedestrian crossing. That fella waiting for another victim to make a wide U turn into the bus lane.

Ya, that stretch is hot spot...especially for us, if need to sent pax to nature reserve, very challenging in the morning...

the bus lane thing is a pain... espcially those red bus lane...
sometimes u see three lanes... two like carpark,.. cars all cannot move... but the red bus lane empty... no bus... but no one can take... creates traffic jams...
den some buses dun know y... got their own bus lanes... still need to eat out to the second lane...
