Fitter cum mechanic, multi tasking is the key for our survivor, we are certificateless, partime contract, full time TD, if we said diploma and want to command 5k, they get indian and pinoys, so we remain status quo better, in singapore, it can be a curse to have a cert nowaday.
Tom can replace the wrong parts, and harry cannot even source for the right part, all the way from europe, OEM and end up thread size different? you tell me, fuck the fitter or the engineer?
Singapore are no makers of engine or most mechanic parts, we are good in reconditon and servicing only, what we are doing is therefore, on thing that is already working, but only need to service and change part, put oil here and there, measure, compare sizes, if within the mannual, carry on, if out, change it. If still cannot works, fuck lah, get the maker down, we take paid and wait for order. , then owner will start claiming from makers
There is this on going law suit in car, the guy is a tycoon in singapore, own many hotels with the F in front. Last year he bought a very luxury car, makers and seller said, smooth and no noise for first year, after 3 month only, a little noise appear, most expert just listen to engine will know what is happening, like doctor listening to heart and lung.
Maker agreed and want to change one for him, he rejected and take it to court
dun get yr story
its a wonder why the public buses and mrts are still working
perhaps the manufacturers oso scratching their heads
, that is the purpose, not allowing you to get the meaning, tosai, prata all go in, that is how we earn our living, as fitter, if engineer fuck why like this or like that, we peng here and there until he blur blur
And as TD, when pax said, why go wrong way, why not that way, I also peng here and there, oh, that road i just now go pass, jam lah, oh that road flooded...funnyhow, some accepted my explanation with apology
And as for Casket Driving, why so late then sent the body in, funneral want to start already, but wait for the body, where the fuck are you, I also sian mah, in toilet said at CTE, big jam, as usual, fucking trees cutting again
Dun worry, MRT and bus will forever working, as long as you do not mind the fare increases, it will can work wonder, dun forget, your iphone parts are also from china , it works!

A Mechanic and a Fitter are both highly skilled people in their own fields.
A Mechanic Repairs/Service/Maintains Equipment.
A Fitter makes components that 'fits' using various precision machining processes.
A Fitter in a Tool & Die Industry can earn more than $5000 per mth. (exclude OT)
Of course those at entry levels should not expect the same kind of renumeration.
Waw piang....tyre nuts can go until Marine.....
I ever know a company who went bankrupt due to under estimate the cost of screws & nuts for a MRT project...don't play play with nuts.

Oil rig ar? sure lah, if serious, we have to be serious, those ang mo engineers just look look see see only, all thinking of Orchard tower , I use to go oil rig by helicopter, food up there damn nice, but you are right, top seriousiness and safety is the prime concern, the way those black and ang mo operate the VOP, and drilling, no asian men can take it.
use WD40 to spray on,then only open nuts

I think they are nuts and called the tow truck ... hahaa
It happens to me once at AMK ave 5, they asked me drive back to workshop. So i drove back to loyang with a missing bolt.

I will still call this island wide tyre repair, he comes will reach around 1hr depends where you are. $50 repair or change to your spare tyre. Sometimes we still need tyre professional to do the job if we can't get help nearby. I will not drive my taxi with one but missing. What if the other nuts fell off and the wheel detach fr the taxi. Then who is at the losing end? Of course we lah, so spend that money and earn a bit that day loh. Kiang hor mai ge kiang.

Of course we got hammer air tool to remove it, it act in a way of hammering and yet turning.
For a case without air tool, the one mechanic use to change and tight nut screws, you hammer the nut slightly first, if got WD40 or other lubricant, diesel also can, add on it, one hand hammer, one hand try to turn, if got 2 persons, one man try to turn, one man hammer it, hammer the nut, not the bolt. And agar agar ok, the worst is the if the bolt broke off, god bless you.
This is call seizure of nut and bolt, knocking the nut excite it structure and at the same time, turning it can help to release it.
If still cannot release, then heating is the other option, if you got a lighter (smoker), heat up the nut, at the same time, add lubricant and exert pressure to release it, once heated, nut expand, all it takes is only one Tack! sound. But do not heat too long until the bolt also heat up.
So do not underestimate your lighter power, not only can light up your cig, dirty bar and pub gals faces, but also nut
haha well done again bro~~~~
one nut not tighten should be ok, esp when if the tyre have 5 nuts.. this is what my mechanics told me when one of the bolt thread cannot screw in the nut..i drove for one week with one of the nut not screwed.. Cos he say that there are cars tyres that are run with 4 nuts/screw only....

ur mechanic frm china??
hahaha...tio sian liao, car tyre must hv all screws, the balancing is important, if go unbalance in long run, your tyre shaft can go bengko end up the whole shalf, pinon and axle all need to change, then siao liao.
There is a purpose of the nos of bolts to share the loan, if one gone, the other 4 hav to take the loan, in long run, sure give way. Bolt can change want lah, even bolt holes thread damaged, can also put helicoil
