Merger is likely for smaller taxis companies as LTA has set a minimum vehicles for every companies to have on the road. Also merging the call center and operation department will saved cost.

Merging the call centre will be the best news for me.
Imagine a Transcab with a CDG MDT, wooo hooo no horse run.
All else to me is secondary , not at all impt .

Yes...so true.Normally buying over a company means higher cost for buyer of the company and more bad news for hirers...
