Part time hirer??

Just got to know a TD hirer who has a full time job. How is that?? He works office hours. He drives 5.30pm to 12.30am from Tues to Sat. Is it possible?? OMO sumore!!

day time worked as personal driver , night time drive rental , day time park taxi at multipstorey carpark .

I sometime hold 4 jobs at one go, Mon to wednesday drive casket van, thursday and friday, work in shipyard as contractors, then sat and sun chiong Taxis driving, on festival days like chinese new year, mon to wednesday at nite also go benn bak kua. then thursday and friday nite sometime go download cars from ship carriers at west coast pier.
Then my father told me, like this up lorry very fast, before he go, i go first, white hair sent black hair, so now i relax relax, just do shipyard contract and drive Taxis.

taxi driving i earned $18808 a year , every year i submit same amount , cos i really earned that much .If the other job got CPF , cannot escape figure one .

If according to your description, hirer plus OMO, no relief, only drive Tues-Sat, 7 hours a day, than the rest of the time, the taxi do what? Park at the carpark, save fuel???

How many hours he sleep?I only drive Taxi, very idle some more, and yet not enuf sleep.
If this guy stop Taxi at 12.30, means he sleep around 2 am. Wake up 6 am?
Very soon will up the lorry.
Unless his day-time job can sleep.

Think he use as personal car,
morning put change shift to his office location and cover 20 ~ 30
lunch time fetch 1 to bring him to lunch location and cover on a meal
after work his workplace sure alot of ppl going home, can cover another 20~30
so just drive another hour or 2 can cover rental leow
if song can drive a bit more to earn some pocket money

Ever got one friend, moonlight TD at night, but only twice a week, Fri & Sat...ho dang ma.
Day time was a warrant officer in Army, knn, cannot take call, cannot queue, cannot go AP, cannot go many many places, only can do street job, why? can look at the pax in advance ma, or else wait General Choo came onboard dua ki lo...Government servant are not allow to moonlight...

The ironic is whether you moonlighting or sunbathing, it will not make you a millionaires other than a slave for this country govt who can tell you that earning 1k can afford to buy HDB flat and that today flat sizes are the same as last time.
The British are gentlemen in a way that they educate you openly on their laws and all other subjects, so that you become educated. Once you are educated, they respect you and give you independency base on the Laws you learned against them. Then they leave you to be on your own because they know you are now smart and able to hold fort.
Then our govt provide us education base on british system of certification O, A..etc. And as we the citizens get educated and brightened, they start to treat us like goondos with stupid swiping and laughing statements that ultimately grade us as kindergarden graded.

Moonlighting will not make millionaires, but I think it will sumhow add some cash into the pocket.

No doubt it will add some cash, but between cash and life, which do you choose, a day is 24hrs, life span for sg is only 75yo, you take your pick.
To be fair, it all a matter of cost of living, those earning below 2.8k household income will tend to be in a difficult position, end up, you having to take up 2 to 3 jobs and work like a cow with no rest, then you are more or less a machine.
Some I agreed that they have to take up some extra jobs to cover cost of living, most suffered in silence, but for some, is overspending, spending on unnecessary goods that end up money not enough. Then for some, money is king, god, some thing to die for it, it is never enough for them, seeing the bank account growth is their pride and happiness, but end up, 50++ up lorry, worthy??

I recall a story of a boy who so wanted his father to stay with him at nite before he go to sleep, but his father moonlighting all years round, made money for the family to enjoy better life, not bad, consider good man.
Then one day, the boy asked the father, Dad, how much you earn per nite of driving?
Dad replied, well about $100, then i close shop, cos have to work tomorrow.
The son took out a $100 from his saving and hand it over to his dad and say, Dad, can I buy you for a night? here is a $100, it my saving from the daily school expenses you give me. Tonight you stay with me.
The father in tears hugged his son and said, " I am sorry, i neglected you, please forgive me, i shall work less to be with you all"
