Nowadays newbie doing day shift very good life. Day shift support very strong. There are many heavyweights in day shift. Firstly, get to know jnyt (eating number one, other things.....sigh). It is extremely easy to get into her good books, just intro good makan places. Equally important to get to know other members as well. Heavyweights like khoon, cash lee, calculator teo, punto and many others. Secondly, keep your mind open and absorb as much as possible from them. There is no right or wrong formula. Only your own formula which only you can develop. Mastering routes and landmarks is an essential part of your daily success and survival. Just try your best to do so. Thirdly, once you get a hang of things and you feel your wings have harden. Reflect upon the people who lend you a hand while you were still crawling. How they put in time and effort to help you instead of stepping on you. I would appreciate if you do not blog or make unnecessary comments after you have driven for sometime and gotten the hang of things. Rather than doing so. I would be much happier if newbies would embrace the break time kopi tiam culture more than the cyber culture. Lastly, never forget that we are all singaporeans. We share the same pink id and our tvl doesn't come in different colours. Thus, please embrace our own kind. Especially in trying times like now. Every taxi coy is a vampire dressed in a different colour. Please do not paint members with the same brush. Or worse, make comments about a particular taxi coy having taiko calls when one has never driven for that particular taxi coy at all. Let's have fair and balanced comments. It has been a year for me. I still can't thank left leg and right leg enough for their kind help. P.S. if you do meet and get to know the day shift gang, don't not believe whatever they say about me. It is all myths and half truths. I just see open everytime I drive and sengkang is still a nightmare to me.
