Long time no see two brothers?Any updates?
Hi brothers, I am back!
I went sailing , voyage repair contract, ship got 2 engines, one down for overhaul, so need to sail with ship and repair at the same time. Actually I am not so fit to do these job which is what I worked on during my younger days,
But because got no youngster want to learn, foreigners no skill, all ali baba one, so this contractor called me up for kopi and ask for my help, knn, suffering. Now thin thin, dark dark and weak weak, but earning sure better than TD and CD. Siong. Might be my last voyage job.

U know lah, navy guy should know, one farking super tanker engine is 8 to 10 storey high, knn, hot like fark, no need what slimming or running, work inside there for 2 to 3 days, automatically slim down liao

No lar, chief, you smart driver mah, easy and relax, people like me and newbie have to look out in the middle of the night for pax, eyes are pain pain and blur blur, you this type, smell can already.

Just imagine you are inside your merc engine working while it is OTR, that is how big marine engines are, hot, dangerous, dirty and demanding, in my younger day as seamen, I lost 2 good colleagues due to engine on fire at the sea, 1 due to boiler repair accident, another 1 fell from height 4 colleagues permanent handicap due to freak accident out of poor safety measure.
So, brothers, TD do have hazards, so are other jobs, do be careful. Nevertheless, TD are more prone to public scrutinisation, whereas industrial accidents, especially out of port limit cases are much less publicised.

yah man marine accidents normally all very serious 1 tats y last time
we emphasie alot on safety n i also take alot of care esp when in the shipyards
You a got stupid navy captain who anchorage at the merchant vessel lane, got 2 navy gals killed, body also cannot find. When I go ST at changi to work, still can see the wrecked navy ship.

yah bad accident actually is 4 of them 1 body till today not found yet.
2 of them r my ex shipmates dun say liao............
