New TD seeking advice

Hi Poolman & other experienced TDs. Need help. New td here. Just receive TVL. I went to comfort & transcab to get info for hirer & relief. Today going to smrt then tmr gg prime. Each company got pros & cons. Transcab mthly incentive is Fwah! good leh. Talk to a few td's when I went there. Got to do mthly maintenance of taxi, will waste 1 day there as everyday long q. Then if got accident, more jialat! Want to fuel up also there. Only at amk. Comfort look more stable like that. Incentive is quaterly. 17 places to fuel up. But talk to 1 td. He said as a start-join other company as comfort is strict. 3 complains from passengers or accident ... then comfort kick u out. Scary lah. Is it true? SMRT gg today. Prime I have not gone. Gg tmr (Tue). So pls help advice. I just need a company that I can drive for in the long run. I am (Ro)zan actually. Malay-ren :-)

bro , go sign comfort . Melayu find comfort no wrong , many melayus joined comfort as relief , thus u may find a relief easier . The rest dun think . Dun omo , straight get. relief once u get a cab from cdg

Thanks for the advises bros. Too many companys, too many pretty promises until blur which company to join. I will get relief once I get cab. Now I understood OMO means what. I take course at PSB. Not bad, abt 3 weeks after pass, I get to collect my TVL. Very interesting, all the gang in here very active wan ah. Thanks bros! Any time can sit down drink kopi one day yah.

if u sign up Comfort , better drive day shift .
Cos if u drive Comfort and drive night shift , very soon u will throw that bloody comfort key back to Call Centre , tell them to come and drive !!!!

Bro Pool, Thanks. I will find relief for night or weekend. Got to take time to relax with family too. I am thinking of comfort sonata (3 mths wait minimum) & smrt epica (1mth wait). Read in the treads that you hosted, transcab wish 1.8 also seem quite worth it. My plan is to research the time & places to be at, duration abt 1 mth when I receive my taxi. Plan to also ply airport terminals a few nights in the week. Still newbie so got to test water. Good plan or not?

U must adept to the new working environment first .
Slowly , dun get too excited .
After adepting , familiarised , for operating of taxi meter , surcharges , traffic jams , location surcharges , ERP gantries , before u can think about what IT show what AP what .
Got one newbie , his hobby is to Q at all hospitals at all times , not wrong , not right also .
Aiyo slow process knn , so long process to become a good driver .

Earn a bit here , spent with family a bit there .
Must have some balance between lifestyle and taxi driving .
All the way taxi driving , neglecting family , u will soon find yourself busy trying to fix family problems than driving taxis .

Same to taxi driving .
Earned less or earned more , still earned .
When time's is up , pack up and go home .
That routine is all about you .
7am to 7pm , means 7am to 7pm .
Your body will love it .
Your kids will love to see you home .
Your wife will know what time she can climb onto you . If u are home 11pm , she already sleep liao , make what love ? LOL .

sure lah, if not keep going around in circle at CCK for fcuk, by the time if you manage to get a pax, you maybe at pasir ris liao, like me, stubbornly dun get out to airport or town, later half hour wasted fuel than get a guy, going into sungei kadut, nabei, more further and further, since driving relief for comfort, put diesel go home sleep -
Hi bros! Took poolman advice. sign up with comfort today. Gg for mdt course tmr. hopefully will collect next week. Poolman, will keep in mind abt work-family balance & taking things slow. Will familiarise first, learn slowly. then will think abt AP. got 2 potential relief for night. hv not confirm until i get vehicle. excitement is good for me. Then i dnt take it as a job & will look forward to drive. By the way, got 1 abang asks if i want super relief then call him. ftom ur post, its for reoief to take over if i need a few days rest? must i check with comfort if i want engage super relief? is it ok to b super relief? Thx bros for ur informative advice & inputs. definetely open my eyes bigger
