Members are reminded no point high beam at the vehicle infront .
U will never win .
So what if u win ?
What if he jammed brake ? U high beam still your fault if u banged his back .
High beams only invites confrontations .
Dun know why some drivers out there like high beam at the car infront .
U'll never win if u are behind .

Unless u are really turtle slow .
If both at legal overtaking speed limit , they may high beam all they want .
High beam drivers can be really irritating .

those who high beam just to overtake u!but i was travelling 90 km/hr,and the lane 2 already occupied furthermore the vehicle in front was quite close,but he keep high beam and horn!

if such vehicle behind u horn or high beam to u like gilah,may b he really got something very urgent!Last time (16 yrs ago)i drive van with my wife send my only son go TTSH(that time woodland dun have hosipital),on the way my son coma! i thought my son mati liao!i n my wife keep calling him but nothing...no response!i drive around 100km n zip zap plus high beam n horn like gilah ppl!see no ppl cross road,red ligh also chiong!

Driving at 90km/h on lane 1 is ok when nobody wants to overtake but dun mistaken as a god given right. Lane 1 is for overtaking, even if u're at 110 or higher pls give way if someone signals to overtake. Basic courtesy ma but drivers here like to hog lane 1.
Slowing down or turn on hazard lights will make the situation worst!! (unless u sibeh eng waiting for confrontation)
Notice many vehs like to cruise on lane 1 at 90 and might slow down to 70 or lower when going up slopes. Lane 2 is choke with vehs and tailback can stretch very long, this is very annoying personally.
If u wanna cruise then dun stop the world from spinning la brudder :)

omg~ I hope ur son is ok now >___>anyway, in situation like this bo bian de ma... it's urgent, matter of life and death... Even if TP spots u on the road, chances are that they will help escort you to the hospital... Quite a few cases where TP spots speeding vehicle and provide them escort to hospital after finding out that it's an emergency...

1. practise give way if you can
2. lane so few, guess so call over take lane in singapore is so hard some time when so many heavy commerical vehicle are taking up almost all the lane except the lane
3. can slow down if kena high beam non stop from behind but remember do not jam brake a few times
reason not to jam brake is because there is one case when a comfark does that on the express way lane 1, all the action was recorded and the driver at the rear send complaint to LTA and TP. the comfarkdriver loose vacation licence and was summon to TP at ubi.
in the end which i don't quiet understand that TP also revoke his driviing licence due to dangerous driving( maybe too many points)

Activating high beam is very popular culture in my country.
We like to especially high beam on the motorcyclist who is traveling on the wrong side of the road.
Also like to high beam slow singaporean drivers who are blur in our roads.

Thks�my son is ok now,this happen at 16 yrs ago!Even Tp want me to stop i also wont stop till i reach hosipital n send my son in!Cos i really siao liao at that time!

sometimes it's not that we don't want to give way,but filtering into lane 2,a lot of veh,and nobody give chance,very dangerous!then the veh at the back also not in a hurry!they also horn and high beam like mad!

North bound usually not much SG hoggers, u chut left signal they auto. South bound nearer to jb is usually damn frustrating, they will tail slower veh n refuse to give way even if u signal or high beam thinking veh in front is slow. This concept is damn wrong, if u dun wanna push then give way to others to push the hoggers. This grp of drivers are high risk grp IMHO, one fine day some cars may misjudge n ram their rear. I dun wanna know the result........
Bottomline, if ure tailing slow veh regardless wether it's NSHW or TPE. Dun act blur and refuse to give way thinking veh in front is slow. If u dun wan or dunno how to push, let others do it.

me n my fren all the way frm KL till ayer keroh r&r all the way he juz cut in
n out juz to chase us cause we juz zip ahead n slow down to wait for him
n then ciong again............ then at r&r he juz diao us...........
reason y he chase us was we put signal to overtake liao then he like bo chap
horn n high beam also dun give way then we juz zip past him round 180km/h
maybe his balls shrink when tat happened................

I kena a few times at night at yishun from Cortland when along lentor 70km/h speed limit and I going 80km/h kena high beam n horns …left lane to tpe, I on middle lane and right lane to amk... both left n right lane no cars at all just me n that cab behind... at last overtook me go tpe n middle finger me …am I hogging or he's against red taxi? Today at jurong west before going up pie ,I signal right to turn, high beam n horn again …but before that kena tailgate liao …I going 80km/h also on normal road... am I still too slow or I must chiong 100km? Really feel like jamming brakes n go down, pull him out n bash him...

i also understand u wait at slip road kena horn,u at slow lane also kena horn,u wait at traffic light also kena horn,u trying to park also kenna horn,u driving slow a bit also kena horn!these people they r rushing to hell!,why all the hurry,relax a bit lah!

Many years ago, on NSHW, we riding on our way to KL....
These 2 kakis was testing their top speed, zooming here and there.
Most of us carry a short wave talkie for easy communication, of course most of us is in built.
Than we receive a distress call..that 2 kakis collided with each other..the first bike trying to brake to avoid an animal, and behind bike bang straight to him..
The damage is beyond words, one of them die on the spot, the other one survive..
The damage bike was recover and the meter actually stuck at 286km/hour...and accordingly to the other biker who survive, he is chionging at more than 300km/hr..
This biker(my friend) feel so guilty towards the other biker's family and whatever he do, just can't get things right....frustrated with life and 8 years ago, he committed suicide....................

may i then ask why is it that quite a few taxis have one headlight on high and one dipped?
not sure if the drivers know about this when you are driving but i kena when taxis are behind me, i noticed that one light is high-beam and the other is not...
cars don't have such settings... yet i've noticed it mostly in taxis...
and of different companies and different models of taxis too
