rejecting $50 dollars

  last night a foreign couple boarded my taxi,after trip man paid me with a $50 that has torn off corner,it's quite obvious,about 1cm in triangle,can i reject it?now i am stuck with that 50 dollar torn note!

  i tried to reject,but he just push it to me!what can i do!in case he threaten not to pay the fare,i gotta lan lan accept!

  Knn, dun pay the fare will become an offence, tell him. As for me, I always got collected torn $10 notes, if scotch tape can repair the note, I will do it in my taxi within 5min. Yesterday collected $100 note from ah tiong pax I also look carefully at the note before I give the change to them. No matter how, if we think it right to accept we take, if not reject their notes and explain in a proper manner.

  I got tip for u all...

  If u suay suay no check and kenna one, bank dun accept, worse case scenario is to go MAS. MAS will refund u a portion.

  How much I also dunno how they calculated but I know someone, kenna torn 100 note slightly more then half only. Bank no accept so she go MAS, then MAS refund $50.

  do it like my mum. Tape it on the back.. fold half way with front facing up. Go to places where they dun bother to open the whole note . and they goes that $50 hehe
