To all fellow taxi colleagues
Finally the day arrive for me to throw key... I hereby wish to thank all LV members both in this forum as well as those outside for the kind advice given to me during my 3 month as a newbie cab driver.
Especially to uncle poolman for sharing his tons of experience, ct for his jokes, khoon for jioing me supper or breaskfast whenever we met as well as ck for talking cock with me under the coconut tree.
For those not inside this forum, I would like to thank 06,22,126,277,756,388 and others who i have forgotten to mention for giving me job lobangs, tips, advices, as well as sharing jokes to keep me awake in the middle of the night.
Yes!! I will definitely miss "try-call, open call, 5 min & 1 turn"
LV87 hereby officially resign from cab driving. I hope that you all still welcome me for your buffet gathering in future even though i am not a cab driver anymore.
My walkie (i205) is available for sale, any members which need a spare set can pm me or contact me at 8125 9258. Last but not least... i just wish that all of you drive safe.

many td took up driving for many reason, likewise, leaving this trade does not mean td can not make it.
in this world, many people job hopping, they will tried a different job to see if it is better than their previous job after comparing.
the tried duration can be long or short subject to individual
What is your fear, how many td in this forum actually say they are leaving for good cos cannot make it, so far i see very very few
So don't get so worry if someone want to say goodbye, all the best to them is what I have

I only want to thank fellow colleagues who taught me the secrets of this trade during my short duration of driving, not discouraging any one of you. I leave for my own personal reason which uncle pool had highlighted and It does not mean i cannot survive in this trade.I will keep my vocational license...
And if my statement offend or discourage any of you, I sincerely appologise for it

You choose not to be a Taxi Driver anymore is your own decision. No need to tell everybody here with a thread opening. Simple as that, good luck.

Really dun understand what bother other people when he say farewell to collegues? This topic is Taxi Drivet, why can't comment? Taxi related what? Why kua beh kui, live is short, got unforeseen victims died in split second recently, why people now dun have a bit ren qing wei. ---------------------- Although I dun know you, I still wish you all the best in your new career, mphua.

He has been away quite a bit , slowly he is packing up .
When that sort of job opportunity came knocking , i also will throw key .
Too good to refuse lor .

i am also thinking of throwing keys already!been thron accidents,passenger abuse,horn and disturb by other driver,fine at traffic light violation,chase away by security guard,ignored by passengersetc etc!i can't it anymore!

What you have been thru, I also go thru it in my 3yrs driving. Accidents? Just drive carefully. Passenger abuse? I dun think its wrong to F them back if they foul mouth first. Horn and disturb? If i not at fault, I usually horn them more when they do it at me. Traffic light violation? Just practice slow down and stop if nessesary at amble turned red light. Security guard? F care them if you are told to pick up or wait by the pax, do the guards pay your fare? Ignored by pax? Usually I let it be because there will be other pax taking my red taxi. To me now Sonatas are more dangerous as it seems. -

I am just earning a honest living like other drivers, so not really anybody can affect my emotions unless I make myself loose control. You must know this, what goes around, comes around, god is watching us everytime. -

Great that mphua has decided to leave after 3 mths , he has been enlightened .
3 mths is enough to see the big farking picture what taxi is all abt.
Simply said , 3 mths and u dont get out , be prepared to be in it for 3 years or maybe even 30 years doing the same fark shit everyday.
im fast approaching the half way ( 30 years ) mark liao ... sigh.

giving up? do you have other plan for a better job? if yes than it would be a good news.if no , then what you going to do? you driving omo?
got kakis while you on the road? any kakis to call while you got problem on the road?
In this world , not every job suit everyone, but sometime human still be able to adjust to suit the job, subject to you want or don't want change. remember human are already resistance to changes
if you are driving day mostly , can PM me your problem, see what i could advise where gone wrong for you
for now just try to relax and drive , don't think too much, thing maybe different and become easy for you.
school holiday coming is like a season change( i presume you started as td not long ago) and daytime should expect more pax
