Today luck not so good. Morning kena pioneer Rd north, so LAN LAN queue at bird park. Waited 1 hour and send a Ang mo pax with a kid to sentosa. Kid vommited in my cab. Fare around 16 plus. Ang mo have 20 and said keep the change. phui while entering sentosa, scared that they charged me entry fee,so temporary took off my cash card. Later in the afternoon, went thru erp gantry without cash card. Phui... Let me share some story of ah neh I ferry today. Really damn solid No horse run Around 4 pm plus, send pax from ikea to woodsland. So go checkpoint to queue. knn queue for 20 mins then 3 ah nehs board my cab...uncle can send us to marsiling drive...sorry hor short distance can a not....can I say cannot, so drove them there. Fare 3.80. Keep the change uncle....phui. Buay song so went back to checkpoint to queue again. Queue for another 25 mins. Another 3 ah nehs board my taxi. Hey hey can fetch me to the nearest 4 D shop....knn wtf.....phui phui. I say I dunno where lah and they quite persistant. Haggle with me and Two paxs skip my cab.. Finally I chased them out. Another ah neh board my cab. I cross my fingers .... I shiver and started to perspire....and ah neh said.....TOA PAYOH. Want a relief...

What time you at Bird Park? Waited 1 hour? Just curious, which company you drove, because usually queueing at Bird Park will hit Tanjong Kling calls, Jurong Pier and even E-Voucher jobs, can be as far as Gul Road. So some time you will see Comfort taxi auto out from the queue.

From 0700am to 0910am immediate goto Joo Koon Circle MRT, Join the Q provide
JKC - Benoi or JKC - Pioneer or JKC - Gul or JKC - Tuas shuttle service.
(You may see 8~10 Cabs Q Up, But it take you ONLY 5~10 Minutes)Every short trip take you 10~20 Minutes include Q time and Pay you $ 8 - $12.
If you fast enough, you can get $30 Per Hour.If kena Tuas South etc, 2 Hours you also can do 3 Trip of Tuas South.
Each trip $15~$18, 2 Hours you still can get about $50.Every moring, You can see 20~30 Blue, Red, Gold regular shuttle service there.
After 0910am, don't waste time to Q there, Becuase the Q Up time getting longer.
Goto JW St 6x, JW St 7x, JW St 8x there are a lot of Pax going to CCK, Bk PJ etc

Try to don't go Boon Lay MRT or Jurong MRT, Becuase you sure Kena Penjuru or Jurong Island.
1030am onward just go around the Chu Ka, You will pick Up Ah Soo from CCK to Bk PJ @ $5~$6, Pick up Ah Gong from Boon Lay to JE........
Some time it can been non stop till Noon time.

yes, the key word is LUCK! taxi driving needs luck, not what someone would like you to believe td need to plan like what those ceo of mnc do.

LUCK very important... like today, 4.45pm, i was like a bit sian liao, so thot just png at parkway cos mostly short trips one.. end up pax wants to go muslim cemetry, walan eh.. so far.. bo pian, go lor.. after alite liao, pick 1 pax to jurong pt, dan jurong pt kana newton, dan newton kana geylang, dan geylang kana sengkang.. heng right... -

Hahaha!Dun like that lah!I also New entrant in this market lah!I really got no way out then drive taxi!(joking but is really) Even ah tiong pax ask me that $3k n $6k,i told him talk no use,can n try 12hrs without bonus, annual sick leave,MC..Ah tiong told me:i work 10hrs/5.5 days/week also got $2.5k(work permit levy not includ yet) with bonus n many different leaves...Taxi really not that good can earn gd $ as newspaper said! -

sat / sun morning .....jurong side not so many ppl i first in the queue in bird park at 10 am plus got my pax at 1145am bird part opens at 8.30am ...so those early birds will leave before lunch time sometimes they will go mandai zoo sometimes back to hotel in town before 11am ......leass chance if you are 3rd or 4th in the queue
