If must chose a winner for Overall Performance .
My conclusion between Wish and Benz .
Winner ? Overall performance ?
Answer : Toyota Wish 2.0L
Note : My comments below is base on personal experience . Not targetting at any particular Benz driver .

Before i drive a Benz , many Benz drivers told me : " If u ever drove a Benz , u'll never want to drive any other vehicle ."
Ok , i haven't try , so i take it as really good .
Now i've tried .
My answers now to them : If u ever drove a Toyota Wish 2.0L , u'll never want to try other vehicle , because she is the best to date ."
if base on my experience in driving Toyota Corona , Toyota Crown 2700cc , Toyota Crown 3000cc , Hyundai Sonata and both Toyota Wish , and now Benz .

I told him if Benz can cup Benjamin Sheared Bridge down Rochor at 110km/hr .
Let me tell you this , u try on your Wish 2.0L , u can cup at 120km/hr , and still zai zai .
Believe me .
Benz handling is second to Wish .
Hands down !
I was travelling at Bukit Panjang Road heading into BKE , along the slip road , when i tried to manouvre ( cup corner ) , i was on the right lane and my vehicle actually swerve to the left lane , lucky left lane no vehicle .
And that was just about less than 80km/hr .

And maybe due to the age of the Benz and diesel injections , the Electronic Fuel injection , i would say , diesel engine can never match the fuel injection of a petrol powered vehicle .
Why ?
Wish never jerks !
Release pedal and step on pedal , the vehicle never jerks , will still runs smoothly .
Every diesel powered vehicle , old and new , non were as smooth as Wish 2.0 .

i try liao , cup corner at 100 km/h down benjamin sheares bridge is doable. 120 kmh i dun think so.
I agree with poolman that wish 2.0 is a very nice car to drive. I find the benz a bit cramp but the power no horse run.

Driver's leg space were okay , just good for skinny fellow like me .
I really cannot imagine how our FT can fit into the cabin ?

I only love a few features about Benz .
The turbo charge .
And it is more powerful than the turbo charges of Hyundai Sonata .
But honestly , my ankle a bit tired for long distance .
Whole night my speed cannot go beyond 117km/hr , must hang ther around 100km/hr , or else buzzer ti ti ti , ti ti ti , ti ti ti ......
Silver Star will never be caught speeding on the road , no way !!!!!

Another feature was the Full Step SBC Hold .
I dunno what is SBC Hold , it's like step onto the brake for you when stop at traffic lights .

Air con wise , non told me to Up the aircon .
Unlike Wish . .
But once i up my aircon for them , infront driver like me will be frozen .
Benz behind also cooling . I no need blast for them , i felt good , not too cold .

I also joke with Mercabs , that one month later , both my arms will be like ....
All thanks to the "power" steering .

Wish 2.0L u can turn the steering with just .....

I believe my former Red Baby , after 3 years , will not be anywhere worst .I heard my baby was on the road liao .

But of course , Benz is a brand new environment for me , i always say , the environment won't change for me , i gotta change for the environment .
I will fine tune the way i drive to make Benz as close as to the Wish , which i think it will never be .
Diesel is always diesel , can never never be on par with petrol powered car .
Only thing good about Benz , the taximeter is injected with steriod .
Well not much , Coconut tree to Club street , normal Wish maybe $13 , Benz's past $14 .
Won't make me a millionaire , but can buy a packet of coffee with every trip like that , drink kopi chee gian .
5 trips can buy Starbucks Ice Mocha .

Being Silver in colour , today i never meet with any rejections .
My Mata Ayer pax tip me $10 for sending him home with a Benz , thanks Paul !

how can you compare a relatively new wish against a 5-6 years merc ?
wait till the wish is of the same age then you talk.
or try comparing the new merc from CDG when it is out.......

Anyway the Wish and the Benz is diff around 1.5 year old .
Heard from hirer left 1.5 years to 5 years if i am not wrong , mine former red wish was past 2 years old ?
Nevermind lar . . . the Benz mileage quite scary , must sent to C & C liao .

today also my first day i listen to Premier's jobs on walkie talkie .
they have quite a bit of calls at Tuas .
but their procedure quite funny .
3rd and final call then they reveal destinations .
