Newbie cabby for super relief

Hello friends. My name is jeevan. I'm goin for my TVDL this month with SMRT in woodlands. I intend to drive taxi as a part time relive driver. My full time job is 15 days a month. 2 morning shift 3 off days then 3 night shift 2 offdays. Can anyone advice me on which company to join and how do I enrole myself as a super relief driver. What are my responsibility as a super relief driver? Thank you Jeevan

Usually u relief permanent slot , like Monday Wednesday Friday , 6pm to 6am like that .

Unless u find a few friends , ar kao liao one ..... when they OMO , u call them ask them can let go anytime u want .
I let other comments , i haven't seen anything like that .

Ya man , since HKoh is prepared to OMO , why not jeevan u discuss with HKoh , then on and off u relief for him , as per when u want to drive , u might indirectly helping him and yourself . At the same time , he can rest , not a bad idea to discuss those possibilities .
Thats what a forum can do .

Nothing much , just cover rental for the whole day until u buay tahan liao .If u asking me what's the rental like , usually market rate .
CDG Sonata it's like $70
Toyota Wish it's like $60-$65 .
It should be $20-$30 less from standard rental for the whole day .

If in the event like u joining HKoh as a freelance relief , i called it .
Then cannot lar , cannot less $20-30 , maybe u take half shift , he take half shift .
Then rental 50-50 , or 55-45 , or max 58-42 .

Super relief are not in a practise to sent vehicle for service .
Make sure u and the hirer come into such agreement .
Because servicing means time taken out of your rental , and down time goes to him .
Unfair .
Super relief should be just cover for him on the road purposes , not doing other favours .

I am now actually gg to meet a friend this weekend to discuss with him if we can work things out.
As my wife is going to deliver soon this August,I might need another relief (non fixed day kind) to help me cover in case she needs me around at home. So bro jeevan u might be suitable for me and yourself.
Take your time to scout and look at other options since u still have at least a month before u obtain your TVL

If he wanted to be super relief for many more people out there .
Comfort has got a pool of almost 16,500 taxis .
What does that tell you ?
TransCab only got slightly 7000 ?
SMRT about 4000 ?
The rest all small figures .

If u joined CDG as relief , dun bother to join others .
If u joined TransCab , better tag along with SMRT to make up the figures . And forgo CDG .
Mind you , u need to pay security of $1000 for CDG , $1000 for TransCab and $1000 for SMRT to be their super relief .

super relief means you dun drive permanently my question to you is whether your off days are fixed or random if random, it will be difficult for you to be a part time relief then you can consider being a super relief to be a super relief you need to pre-register with a few cabs and place a deposit to the taxi company. You can PM me once you got your TVDL You can join my team as a super relief sometimes I need to go motherland -

Pass already. Now waiting for LTA to call me to collect my license. I got to know one guy who rents his silvercab per shift rental. I think I'm gonna try it out. I dunno if it's a bad choice or not. Cos this it the first time I'm in service industry. Hkoh brother. I will msg you. Tks to all the advisors..

Hmmm, I didn't know that I don't have to give my relief driver his share of the downtime. I always pay him for the downtime as soon as the amount and timings are reflected in the account statement.
Most of the time I gave him his part of the downtime refunded to me, sometimes more. For example, if he sends the car to workshop at 8 am and got it back at 3 pm I just forgo the entire rental for that day. (He drive the 5am to 5pm shift)
Partly because he always make noise "cry father cry mother" that my old(5 yr plus Sonata) got a lot of problems. Its true, sometimes brakes, sometimes engine light on, sometimes engine stall(tow)... its true though...its been like this for the past 2 month or so, have to go workshop once every 7-10 days:(

when cab otr 24/7... sure hav more problems... means need go wokshop more often...if relief drives day... should b right to give him the down time... coz cab go workshop... he cant drive.. no income...
last time when me was a day relief... hirer waive rental on service day... onli need to wash car... coz after service usally veri dirty...

Now my shift is 4-3,4-3 easier....
