Next things on my list will be (not in order)
1) Name Card
2) Car Cam
3) GPS

Take a deep breath and drive for 3 months, then reconsider if you need to do the "Next things" that you wanna do.

GPS
Actually, Singapore is very small and doesn't really need GPS if one is always on the road. However, I have not drive for nearly 10 years, so I might need some time to get used to it.
I don't want to lose a passenger because I do not know how to get there. I don't want to be get scolded or complained.
I just bought Garmin 2565 at Funan for S$279 (member price). Come with 5" carrying case and 1 free LED touch worth S$12.
Car Camera
I don't want to wait for taxi company to install for me. God knows when they will install. I want it there the first day I drive, just in case I need it as prove.
There are many available online. gmarket, ebay, aliexpress, blah blah blah. Can easily get 1 for only S$35.
Name Card
I know some TD drivers do not carry name card. But, when passenger like my service and want to become my regulars, I make sure I have my name card ready for them. Beside driving, I also have other business which they might be interested.
1 name card is usually less than S$0.10, but can also be free.

Bro MMO69 from what I understand is very determined to be a highly successful TD and holds high ambitions towards this.
Like what he mentioned in one of his posts, his dream is to eventually have a Pte limo with his own fleet of limo.
Lets all give him our fullest support and guide him towards his dreams.

Take my word , nowadays taxi quite alot on the road , can you imagine , in my whole decade driving a cab , less than 20 ask name cards from me .
About only 10 ask handphone number from me , not many called me for a cab .
Only a few occasion , pax waited outside CBD , i also not free , no taxis for them .
Among one girl that asked handphone number from me , once called me in the morning say she coming to my house .
Cos i lied to her i an bachelor knn .
She was my regular , in currency exchange & remittance service , twice a week i would ferry her to collect lot of cash from her China clients and her service was to collect from the busy workers and remit those money to their China family .
Sometimes she tired i will massage her back for her , she will massage mine .

There's no rule stated that only limousine taxi can print name card, everybody are welcome to do so.
In sales and marketing, name card is a tool for identification and after sales service, a tool to break the ice and a tool for future correspondence.
Of course, most pax will accept your name card, than next moment ended up in rubbish bin..hahaha
But, we don't need quantity of regular pax, we only need quality, a pax who need your personal service (not Poolman those kind,lol), a pax who willing to pay reasonable rate for your commitment, and simple as that, simplify your working hour, a good regular pax sometime can reward you handsomely.
Name card is cheap, and most effective way to sell your services(not body), I had a friend who had been driving normal all this while, had a pool of regulars, all by meter running, and he is happy, sometime, he is so busy, had to get me to help up, why not?
To survive in this tough market, we had to be innovative enough, face thick thick, than you will realized, beside plying the road everyday, there's also something which can enlighten our plight.

Ever see one limo cab, beside the MDT, he got a GPS on his right, a car camera with a little screen on his windscreen, a galaxy tab on a phone holder at the centre of windscreen, an iPhone beside the GPS.
At night, queueing at AP, everything is on, so bright, how to drive? Lol...
