A good hirer

Found this citycab hirer after throw key to my blue hirer. He offer me $50 for his 5yrs old cab. He allowwd me to drive from 3am-7pm as he started work at 8pm n finish at 2am. Initially, i thought he is earning peanut. But after observing the meter record for about 3 weeks, infact he is earning more than some of the omo here. I asked him how he make it within such a short working hours. He replied a good td must know where to connect pax.
As i have no experience to drive at 3am-6am, he enlightened me where to get pax. these 3 weeks start to drive at 3am n my collection is much better than before. Now i just need to drive 9 hrs instead of 11 hrs to have the same income.

Oh yes indeed, I'm also puzzled. My hirer is another super driver. He can start his shift at 7am end his shift 2pm and pass to me. Making more than what I clock on my shift and having to drive lesser.
Actually I'm very amazed by most experience driver they seemed to get their earning easily by driving Taxi. Full admiration for them, my neigbour a full time day driver (1 shift 7am to 3pm) every year go for holiday with the family of 5.
Children still school going with tuition and wife not working.
How do they do it??

My hirer is a serious call taker. He is a cat A driver in cdg's eyes. Compared to my ex-blue sonata, this yellow cab seem to have more calls coming in. Every morning, sure to secure 2 50%surcharge calls. This already help to offset my rental.

For CDG, once you start bidding jobs and die hard fan for current jobs, the system can recognized you in split second, nothing to do with yellow or blue or white.
Good to hear you guys getting good income, drive with positive mind than you won't go wrong.
Of course, the area you stay also play a parts, as far as I had know, places closer to AP had the worst call rate.

Yesterday first prize number from a black taxi and 2nd prize, my friend's number...how to be jialuk...heehee

wah like tat i almost cat Z driver liao...... drive CDG but seldom take calls........
sometimes whole nite not even 1 at all...............

Corporate jobs jo beh hu liao, where got time to do advance or current jobs...hahaha
I know CDG system inside out, but just refuse to follow, driving white still got a bit of ego and pride...

huh..enlighten details, so far I based on the log book of my hirer plus his feedbacks to conclude, while my neighbor a TD really did go holiday with his family every year end when school closed. And I know his wife is a full time housewife.
The rest of the details about business, I heard it from fellow TD while washing taxi after the shift end. Of course not all TD complaint no business. 1 TD told me, he have a great day start late at almost 7pm and end about 11pm with good intake of $220.
Frankly not for me lor. My best shot so far is $260 and dat was with more than 10 hours of driving.
And night driving Clark quay is always crowded with taxi, of course px too but need to wait lor.
