Does Merc taxi lesser pick up compared to Sonata/Crown/Wish

Hi all cabbies,
I was want to check the frequency of pick ups for merc and normal range taxis. Or the commuters does not mind to pay extra 50-90cents. Is the advance booking and call applies the same to mercs too?

Ok my friend who drove a Comfort Hyundai Azera , face rejections at Lot-1 taxi stand .
6 paxes went to the back taxis instead of his .
I also heard midnight commuters shunned Benz Taxis .
Regardless of brand of taxi company , once u Benz , u will have to face certain rejections .

25-30pax daily for 10hr otr........

huh...met some rejection, whereby commuters choose over crown versus my Sonata. And also faces rejection to Merc. Guess its the type of ppl.
In my opinion, in general commuters doesn't mind dat $0.50 different.

Taxi Driver are self employed, or so called businessman too, a one man show busineman
,The analogy is no different from a food stall, you open your stall to sell your products (for taxis is our service is our product), it is up to people on the street wishes to buy or not to buy, but you cannot open a chicken stall and tell people, I do not want to sell chicken to you, then you open for Fark, unless you are closing down (for taxis, changing shift or busy).

There are also paxs who preferred Ben si. Taxis is like a buffet for paxs, lobster, abalone, prawn or sotong, take yr pick, but when there is no taxi around, shrimp also they take
On the contrary, it is also good for TD, we got more variety to choose and pick what we want to drive, if you said Merc less people take, but there are many limo drivers doing very well on the road, better than normal cab. Even aunty driving black car also doing well, the demand for limo is there, you do not need to do research or note the pick up frequency. If it is no good, no body will be driving. As simple as that...

This few days, if free, drive by Singapore Expo Hall 6 taxi stand, you will see the contrast of TS query...hahaha

I start from Tuas , by the time reached Expo , dry dry liao .
Unless Tuas kena one to Airport , maybe ok try there

ya pick up call for expo on tue evening 6pm.
go there see 60-70 pax, no cab.
but white rubbish truck got 10 waiting.

find rubbish truck biz also like lv calls.
no call, no call, no call.
once lv kena call like 2 cab, 3 cab.
mean many td go break. that when lv and rubbish truck HUAT!

For me 10 Hours normally about 12~18 Pax.
Example: Yesterday, 10.5 Hours =>> 15 Pax.
(1 Transcab Call, 2 LV Calls Plus 1 LV advance booking)

In fact, without all the jam and rain, do you think normal cab don't want to went in and pick? Most pax know our trick, you can see CDG purposely put limousine counter side by side with normal taxi stand this time round, many was too impatient to wait and ended up 45 poorer...hahaha
Of course not all pax taiko la...Real limousine pax are those who walk straight to our co-ordinator regardless of time and situation type, no second thought, hop in to your cab and carry on discussing their business deal, than reach destination, 50 keep the change, don't even need receipt, I love them so much...easy money.

If just meter running only, definitely you won't see a single soul of white going even near to the Expo....hahahahaha
