Took a call this morning from Upper Changi to AP. But the pax says ask me detour to Bayshore to pick up something from someone. I tell pax I got other engagement so very rush for me. Then when we reach Bayshore there are a few empty cabs waiting at the taxi stand. I propose to pax why not they hop on another cab to continue their journey and I dun charge them the fare but they refuse. I dun understand why as they are not in a hurry and there are other cabs around that area. Will you take another cab in this kind of situation? For me I will as I know the driver is in a hurry and I am not being short charged and still save on booking fee so is a win win situation for both parties. Just feel the pax is being inconsiderate and do this on purpose to me.
Wierd, u say u will waive off ur taxi charges for him but he still dun wan?
Maybe he's on official duty and receipt later for claims... Then if 2 receipt or 1 receipt but only half charges, will become abit hard to explain to bosses...
Did he asked for a receipt in the end? if he did, likely that he is on official work matters from the company and therefore need 1 receipt... Then again, 2 receipt also still can explain to Boss ma, but I think he lazy... >___>

No he is not on company trip. He is going holiday with wife and father/father in law. Did not ask receipt from me. And I pick them up at 9:50am and from the conversation on the phone his wife tell her friend their flight is @ 12:45pm. So confirm they not in hurry.
Even on official trip can claim I dun think is an issue because the trip from Bayshore to AP amount is definitely cheaper then from his place book taxi to AP. Somemore he detour from his place to Bayshore then to AP. So even claim from finance if amount is cheaper then usual dun think they will question much.

eh no, problem does not lies with the amount being cheaper anot... because if some audit very tight de will kenna...
becoz from suppose from Point A go Point B then Point C... They have a rough guage of the cost... If receipt amount is too far off from the amount, then it will be abit hard to explain... Some companies de audit realy like to pick problem with ppl but then again, it's part of their jobs >__>
and of coz, possible that some boss just like to find problem... "Taxi fare got so cheap meh?" then will start to find problem -___-

I guess he refuse to change cab because you driving merc cab and the availlable empty cab is not a merc cab, he want to travel in style...
Bro Hammer,
If you have something on... (within 30mins of possible job)... dun take call liao... very risky.. many times, there are unforeseen circumstances......

Yes sir noted. Because if that pax dun detour then I got no problem but that pax want to detour to another place. Next time hit target keep no need entertain this kinda nonsense pax.
CDG drivers has got one problem ..... as long as got call , 10 places also must go .
That's why so popular among commuters , esp those deliver roti type .
But never popular among drivers like us .
Phui x 10000000000000000000000000000000
Of course they have those rights , cos they are paying a booking fee .
Big fuck mah .....
I wouldn't take any FT's name call if given to me .
Sorry i do not know if it's FT in this case .
But this sort of stuffs i guess only those FTs are capable of doing so .
Upper Changi and Bayshore ?
Sounds familiar to you ?
i think for a fair booking system both the passengers and taxi drivers ought to pay a cancellation fee if they decide to cancel the booking, now only the TD gets penalised which is not fair to us!i wo't take any calls fr HDB blocks!they will cancel even before u have moved 5 mins!even though i press for 12 mins!

If i was the pax i also wan tekan U....
Got other engagement why wan to take the call.........
Calls is best for those on OMO, they got all the time to play around, they are also good for early morning advance calls
For those with shift type, 2 hrs before closing, better dun mess with calls, put on change shift, stop and ask is a better option. Everytime get angry or frustrated over calls, rushing to change shift or against time for other personal appointment, it can get your blood boiling at high pressure, in days, months and years to come, take care
