Yes it is. Yesterday dunno how come got glitch could see hirer website for whole of singapore, got quite a number of these types of 'robbers'.
They can call wad price they want but one thing , relief dont make also wont stay long. so why not give a more reasonable rental?
i had one joker called me 10 pm to 6 am he want $40 for it. i was like har????????? u know how to count? midnight everyday new year's eve ? sorry beh gum.
And by the look of things , the night isnt that fantastic la. Look at shenton way at 930 pm , 10 pm , OMG pax flag only Some blue fella will jam brake and stop. how to huat?
Comfort calls have dropped so much that they dont do quota balancing anymore. So before 12 u got 0 call , after 12 also may be 0 call.
Supposedly someone OMO from 6 am to 9 pm. 9 pm park the cab there he go and sleep , the cab also sleep with him. might as well rent out?
Assuming $32 from 9 to 6 , thats $960 extra , got someone to take care of the parking somemore , still got long hours to huat. no good? relief make , relief happy will stay.
$40? relief 1st to run road.

Can anyone advise on what would be a good rate for Sat and Sun for comfort sonata relief full day?
what is fair?
relief dun want to bear the burden that hirer have to bear and yet demand every thing 50-50. Fair?
now 50-50 not enough even, price must now even be attractive to beg relief take up. If not, kanna branded as taking all the meat and leaving the bones for them.
Seems that not only must give meat, must give them prime cut at offer price, must even take away the fats and debone for them and also throw in soup and dessert too.
hirer everything bear, yet have to give 50-50 or more, and still have to let relief suka suka throw key - fair?
soon, more hirer will end up like me, rather earn lesser, rather let park the cab there and let it rot also shiok.
how about give u buffet style, take everything or anything u like, cannot finish, just throw lor, every better right?
If my relief throw key, i will take the day shift and offer the night at $60, take it or leave it.
who say, omo must work 16 hrs or more? whether it's partnership for me on Mon to Fri or omo on weekday, my limit is 12 hours. usually 10 la.
Fair or not, let the market force (demand and supply) decide.
Market isn't that desperate at all, esp for CDG.
Many relief seeking cab. Time for hirer to call the shot.
if cannot get, rather earn lesser than be subject to such humilation.
ai pee, ai chee, ai tua liap ni, go be hirer lor.

You driving for how many years ah?
Rot? You drive 12-15 hours expect relief to rot? Lets see what happen after 3-4 years, who will rot?
You can offer whatever price, depends whether ppl want or agree.
What Poolman is saying is correct. 8pm to 8am although looks like 12 hours, actually isn't. You can't drive these 12 hours fully. Because weekday after 1-6, not easy to find, so have to go back and then come out again at 6 to find morning pax, effectively you are splitting the relief shift, so is 50-50 fair, ask yourself? Whereas hirer guaranteed of pax from 8am to 8pm.
Hirers can think what they want, but those who have been driving long, know it's very much a relief's choice still to choose whether to deal with calculative hirers.
Hirer and relief not the same. Hirer gets all the benefits, relief doesn't, you expect the relief to share the your burden 50-50?
Good luck with your $60 offer, but let me tell you, relief never will rot, not in our industry.

If you driving both days 1/2 shift then $50 per shift is ok la.
If driving just 1 day full shift then $90 and below is ok. But if your hirer and you get along, the full $100 is ok too, give and take.
If both days full shift then amount should be anywhere from $150 - $180.

Cool thanks :D
Any idea if there's a closing time for the CDG Diesel kiosk at Yishun Vicom?
face the fact , if tat hirer offer $30 from 8pm to 8am , it will be more than fair , or he will need to park that vehicle at the carpark for $0 .

The day will never come when hirer calling the shot .
Relief is King . Still is .
After passing the decade mark in taxi driving , i have to say relief still calling the final shot .
Hirer got relief or no relief , still need to pay full rental .
Relief no drive , throw key , no need pay any money .
Who's calling the shot ?

If base on his eventual income , which i do not want to speculate . . . one fine day he will be calling it a day very soon .
If base on current market forces , hardworking no use one .
Demand super low means demand super low .
The best is to give it the best shot from 3pm to 12MN if on the road .
While demand is still there .
Once 11pm game over , the cut off time for the regualr demands for taxis .
Frankly speaking, graveyard shift is really graveyard shift.
As a responsible hirer, one must make sure relief dang hu jia.
Day driving, no sweat one, park one corner also got people knock your window.
I'm not a night drivers, but I know is fucking difficult for night relief....
If you think, wtf, must 50-50 in rental, than in real life, you don't have many friends.
