Saw a few taxi photos taken when on Q beyond the designated lots of taxi stand at this mall. This "white Mouse" stand at the front of the 1st taxi in the Q,u may not know u have been shot.

Transcab did send msg on MDT about this taxi stand.
I got one warning from TP for waiting at Jurong point stand in Dec 2011.
Last Thurs, while waiting at Woodlands MRT stand, TP came zooming-in from behind and took photos of 3rd,4th and 5th cab waiting. ( Stand only allows 2 cabs). Best thing he didn't summon one black Nissan Sunny (with L-plate from SSDC) parked in front of me on double yellow lines and commercial vans on the opposite side with "No stopping/waiting" signboards!
Day drivers beware, dun stop at Taxi-stops to wait and taxi-stands, follow if possible the number of cabs allowed. B'coz the warning from Jurong Pt, dunno where he came from.

I ve got summon 50 $ at jurong point taxi stand ,only know after 2 weeks recieve letter .they r hiding dont know where, never seen them ,only see the letter. how come???

Any forummers from Traffic Police Enforcement Department? If no, don't act smart.
Public complain don't have the "power" to activate our "idle" TP, they have other more important things to accomplish, like escorting our VIP or ministers...kns
Enforcement operation listed from A-Z...and taxi enforcement is just parts of it.
Just unlucky you happen to queue there and operation was on.
Before hand, they already listed various hot spots they going to enforce, is as good as telling you I'm coming, so avoid la.

For public, I don't know...Taxi normally will circulate through news letter, MDT warning, talkie group information.

I'm talking about real 'traffic police', not those traffic warden. Idiots who are standing on top of the bridge with camera, also one of their daily enforcement.
Why there's hot spot? Is an assessment by nearby building management, bus interchange and etc...Toa Payoh Lor 2 use to be a hot spot, now you see the changes, public still like to wave cab at that bus stop, but with the new taxi stand, pig also not so big to risk getting summon.

Hotspots or not, just drive with eyes open. Enough sleeping is very important for cabby because we need to be alert all the time, this morning just saw one cdg cabby drive straight into a park trailer at pandan crescent, knn...engine also gone

ya man, not only lose 2k, later also got lots of paper works and other problems. So, brothers, better rest well, not that tomorrow or later want to drive, you go watch your favourite football, later very tire to drive, win in bet nevermind, if lost, more worst, have to cover it up.

My friend wwere photoed by the public for smoking inside the cab .$300 fine .
NEA die die want to fine him , appeal also unsuccessful .

In fact , if u can present an images of vehicle violating rules , u can photo them and email to TP , they will consider the case .
If traffic violation , LTA will do .
eg , civilian cars parked at taxi stand wait for their friends .
