ct2220 informed me Smart Serangoon CNG Kiosk now up $0.05 per kg .
From $2.18 per kg to $2.23 per kg ?
Crazy . . . . but it's true .
I guessed Mandai also up $0.05 .
Their standard practise
It doesn't bother me too much . . . cos i never pump at Serangoon or Mandai .
Even if i left with no CNG , and i sent pax to Serangoon North , i will also leave it that way , run on petrol mode .
I dun see why should i pump their gas ?

Gasoline inject by spray mist various Compress natural Gas is jus like your stove, abit will ignite, therefore the consumption tends to be lower than petrol. CNG is also from fossil oil, it contain 25% diesel in it gas form.

U need that latest shell 16% for cabbies .
Save a lot , not too much from CNG costing .

Wah Lou oei. kena squeezed until no place to run.
I wanted to pump at Serangoon, now maybe I do my study on Petrol Consumption first. (on Wish 2.0L)
I got some data here, please feel free to disagree and share. This is for Wish 2.0L
Price per KM
Toh Tuck CNG => 12.5 cents (verified by my Wish)
Serangoon CNG => 14.1 cents (before the latest increase, verified by my Wish)
Petrol => 19.0 cents (not tested, based on other data)
For petrol, if use Shell discount card, maybe can go below 16.5 cents (not proven)
If the increase is due to Global Oil Problems, then probably CNG prices at Toh Tuck will increase,...
Unless Union Boss absorbs the price increase, or Transcab Boss (same person) pay us back in Rebates.
I think absorbing the Price Hike is his better option.
Otherwise he have to rent the piece of land, diagonally opposite Transcab office to park the returned Wishes.
I be GM better than Jasmine. I already got solution to anticipated problem.
When the goberment decide not to support CNG, all of us knows that it is a matter of time before CNG is phased out.
Youngest Wish is about 2 years old. Can Boss Teo maintain his CNG kiosk for another 5 years?
Probably he can only do it for 2 years.
When Goberment do not support CNG, bad things will happen. Price Increase, Excise Tax, and other obstacles that make the business more difficult to operate.
These difficulties will be passed down to end-users. Mostly Wish Drivers.
So far Teo is absorbing it. Look at the disparity in prices. Toh Tuck, $1.76; Serangoon, $2.03
How much can Teo absorb?
So conclusion..
It is still worth the while to hire a Red Wish.
But make sure there is no contract.
When CNG problems get out of hand, and
If your computations shows that an Epica (or any other make) is a better choice, then make the switch.
Note: 3 months contract is no big deal, 3 months can pass very fast.

Have something in mind , ideal will be seeing better machine than what is laest now ( Epica ) .
Eyeing Silver after i30 .
Waiting for them to see any interesting , if nothing happens , SMART Merc will be my ideal choice , cng + cheaper petrol , key is booking fee $5 , i can cover alot .
Now i also ran on petrol after CNG dried up .
Seldom utilised petrol , if there is a need , i will switch to operating on petrol .
If Comfort does come out with something interesting , why not ? I would even go back to CDG , who knows ? If their rental is attractive , but will that happen ?

I get phobia when it's time for servicing at Defu. i30 have 2 yrs contract which I cannot take. Cdg workshop is still the best organised and their mechanics are way much better than Defu.
I had seen a Prime Wish with a big boot space, no gas tanks, must be a complete cng car with no petrol tank. Wonder what mileage he can get from 1 pump of cng.

Wait for COE below 20k maybe can find cheaper one///////
COE below 20k??
Wait till....
Let be more realistic, the Q for cdg cab is getting longer, diesel is now 1.18, still OK in term of fuel cost, calls is good, admin system is good although it demand good discipline, overall it does help drivers alot in term of it eportal, fuel cost and more or less, a stable earning. I am speaking on the perspective of a super relief who drive for almost all the companies.
If I am going to take a full time as TD, I will first place my booking for a new cdg cab, and it is going to be like 6 month later than I get a call for new cab. And in the meantime, I will try as relief for whatever I think is the best at the moment, and if turn out ok, i will cancel my booking with cdg, and if it turn out not so good, I still have the new cdg coming on the way.
