Have just received an email showing my call levy summary for the year
I'm not a fantastic call taker, but have paid more than 5xx in call levy for the year !
Base on a recent report by our spokeswomen, CDG have more than 30,000 drivers
If each driver average $500 in call levy, then CDG would have collected
30,000 x $500 = $15,000,000.00 in call levy a year, wah ! jiak bei leow !
No wonder the call department so courteous to us, sir here and sir there
We are the cash cows

Your figure a bit over. Last year my total less than 220. So I doubt most would hit 500 a year.
Plus not all 30k drivers drive fulltime. Maybe 60% do, the rest just a few days of relief.
On average they get around 50k calls a day, so around 15k a day. Works out to around 450k a month x 12 = Around 6 million a year, + and -
Out of the so many call we had obtained, how much total fare we had generated?
Think about that, is two ways.
Comfort also counting for you.....
If i show you mine Kopi Tiam friend datas ..... u all scare . $800+ levy .
一山会有一山高
i also received mine
based on driving only 5 days,5am to 3pm
total damage $652 for 2011
that is about 7-8 calls average per day
but my call levy for 2012 will confirm see a drastic drop
maybe to less than $300 i think
Reason being after 1 year plus driving for CDG,i have learned what call to take & reject,I only use the 3mins button, anything more is a surely NO to me...
plus $2.30 call,99% I reject

Wa。。。。。。。。7-8 calls per day.
We RED, ONLY can
Any tips to share on accepting calls?
Which location and timing of Advance Call are likely to be genuine? (ie, lower chances of last min cancellation)
Sweeping floor, every TD know how to sweep..The ironical parts is sometime you try to sweep but too many 'cleaners' around.
And just you feel frustrated, a current job came in to your MDT and save your agony.
I believe many TD encounter this, so out of so many call we had secured, try to refresh, is it doing us more harm than not taking it?
CDG calls ?
Thanks but no thanks .

Never say only CDG, is across the board, any company, any taxi stand(LV pay GST also right?), sometime a current job might make your connection much better.
Company provide the basic fundamental of TD business for us, is up to us to make full use of it.
Nothing is free, it just give and take, you join, you also need to pay monthly this and that, everybody is taking from each other, this in economic social term is call the fabric of the society interconnectivity.
Even something is free now, you need to pay back somewhere down the road of your life.
For night shift like me , I just need 2 tai ko calls to below listed destination and my night are doomed .
And i wouldn't mind if CDG give me good jobs like LV and i am very much willing to pay for any levy . But they are capable of doing more than just that .
1.Woodlands
2.Yishun
3.Sengkang
4.CCK
5.Bukit Panjang
6.Punggol
7.Hougang
8.Bedok Reservoir
9.Kembagan
10.Sembawang
If they are to throw me a call somewhere outside CBD with this sort of destination , i rather go into CBD and if need to sweep , i see and judge , and no need pay levy .
And i still in town .
Not paying levy and got sent to my Top Ten banned list .
That is why i don't see anything great or any achievements to get outside CBD call after 8pm .
But CDG very power in their outside CBD call , no taxi companies can match them , too powerful .
I would be more interested in their overall performance base on since fare hike , their call volume after 8pm , inside CBD area .
The rest those $2.30 calls , dun tell me .

Ya CDG call very power. Outside CBD if west I whack Tuas area, not so west I whack Ayer Rajah/Science Park/Biopolis, north I try Senoko/Woodlands Sector, east side CBP/Changi North/South/Loyang. As long got industrial estate can whack. Usually less then 10min got call liao.
Again , after 8pm , at Tuas , kena job at go within West side , a waste of time for me , as far as i am concern .
From Jurong go Tuas wait call , 10 minutes . From Jurong i go town , with 15minutes i am connected , thanks but no thanks to CDG calls .
Enough is enough for me .
At Ayer Rajah , throw you Science Park Drive ......
At Science Park Dr , throw you Science Park Road ..... then Science Park Dr see one on call by another on call taxi come in , except you kena Science Park Road off Pasir Panjang .
Rubbish for me .
Enough is enough .
At Science Park Road throw you NUH . . . . then No SHow , throw you another Science Park Road !
Machiam football kick here kick there .
Am i right CDG boys ?
Enough is enough .
I have one kaki , cannot say his name .
He at Changi South area , he never take call one . CDG calls abundance of them .
Take call all go East side , not for his style to stick at East side .
He has his way to connect one out of East side .
Sengkang , Yishun , Pasir Ris , Simei , Tampines , Punggol , Hougang is a Big No No for him .
Clever .
How he do it , for me to know , for you to find out .
And the worst is , kick here kick there . . . . kena one go Woodlands , knn phui .
What i am saying , $3.30 not good enough for me to sent me to Hollan .
And CDG just capable of doing that .
Do they care if u are vacant for another 1 hour at Woodlands ? All they care is that $0.40 levy .
Ok la, if talking about night driving, maybe Poolman got a point.
I OMO and pure day driver, night the most stretch until 8 plus, so between 6-8pm, kanna anywhere also no problem.
By this time, bo dang must go bend wall lo.
CDG call is so powerful that they had to hide the destination, so it work both way again. If they show you destination, knn, you also will choose, so might as well hide it, you want, take it, don't want, just throw one by one, ultimately sure got takers.
CDG calls used to be very useful when CBD do not have $3 surcharge and 25% .
Now for what from Jurong East chiong to Tuas and get a call to 4 stops surrounding Jurong ?
From Jurong East i go down CBD 10 minutes , do i need a call ? No lar fuck sweep bottom also $3 nett .
Tuas after 8pm ? Bottom also $3.30 only excluding 25% , after levy less than $3 , what for ?
No economic sense to get a call now .
I mean those outside CBD type .
Worst it's after 8pm , those just outside CBD , places like Orchard Tower , ShawCentre , Far East plaza ...... Gateway , so many calls .
Disrupting my ultimate objectives of targetting MBFC calls .
