some staff already sending out alert that if the assigned vehicle is taken control or moved off without the driver's proper care or if they can somehow find its the driver without exercising active (the keyword is ACTIVE, not passive) initiative to secure or retake their vehicle, then whatever happen next to the vehicle as well as after that will all be the drivers' own responsibility and liability! so theres still question marks about the taxi hit cleaner case at buget terminal earlier today, will that considered neglience, then also accident excess 50/50 or even 100

what you say is exactly the problem the drivers discuss. the cabby.."got outta cab"..."the passenger took the seat and then langah the cleaner" the very first question they will ask "Who authorise you let passenger take over?" in the taxi agreement, the very first thing they make the driver sign is NEVER ABANDON VEHICLE WITH PROPER AUTHORISATION, something like captain of ship. sent distress is right but some people beleive he should have stay put and call police/hq instead. some people feel if he did not go and let passenger have chance move off, then this sad thing wont have happen

actually lawy by law according the agreement you are right, like captain must stay until ship sink completely, the driver suppose to treat the vehcile like his or her life. what the outside drivers say is the coy lawyer will find way to push, so its now the driver problem to find proof why he never ask proper authroity. even if leave vehcile driver must also take active step ensure no one touch it, this also inside agreement. number 2 line. but what i put here is some of the argue i hear from others, so please dont take my fault

they will surely ask the same question then he may be difficult, becaise the passneger can turn around say the driver is the one ownself abandon vehicle threaten him, this case looks not so simple

We can state many obvious reasons why a cabby should be doing this and that. We will never know what the man behind the wheel has gone through the past few months or even years.Try driving a taxi OMO for a consecutive 18 hours over a couple of years. Some can't even walk straight without bumping onto something let alone apply what seems like "common sense" in such a situation.
