No wonder some pax say spore TD are stupid. after waited for 10-15 min ,,no pax just go off. complain to taxi companies & LTA ? their answer to u: Noted. value yr feedbackwill look into the matter. then FULL STOP.

This one really no brain think... For me, I always reach at least 10 mins in advance and press call pax to notify him/her. By now, my company already know I reach. Then, after 5 mins, if pax no turn up yet, I go. Paxes like these have to be taught a lesson. We are taxi drivers, not personal chauffers. If they need someone forever waiting for them, then engage their own personal chauffers...

In fact this Peter is more sotong than sotong.in tonite shin ming sow his handsome face inside the MUSSY taxi,I will not take his cab when arrive.can he concentrate driving w so much things on the sash board and also hanging to block his view. maybe he try to get a free adverstiment & exposure of himself on the papers from ST ,to all chinese papers. NO taxi driver w a correct mind will wait 2 HRS for a job. the most pateint TD for this DECADE goes to him,aht abot that ?

Mind or no mind, Peter is certainly doing his best on his job. I think this matter has to be taken into serious consideration by Taxi companies. As at now, there is no penalty for no show on commuters. TD tried no show and see what will happened to you!
I have several instances, already at the location just to see the pax board another taxi whose happened to drop someone off. Does the company know in order for me to pick up this call I have forgo many waiting paxs along the road?
Why commuters can have no show while TD have to bear all the consequences.

at the moment (as reported in chinese papers) pertaining to Peter's complaints,taxi company can only blacklist the no show pax on call. Pax no problem one.just use another HP.problem solved for them. question is how many HP nr or residental tel nr can the taxi company blacklist ? -
Actually, there is a way out.
Follow Hotel Booking Method.
All bookings via Credit Cards.
If no show, auto deduct a certain 'no show' amount.
But, when will it be implemented? if ever.

I don’t suffer fools gladly so I generally keep conversations with people like Mr Peter Lim and his ilk to a minimum.
But my advice to taxi drivers in general and Mr Lim in particular is this:
Stop your whining.
IF YOU CAN’T STAND THE HEAT, GET THE HELL OUT OF THE KITCHEN!!!
Don’t forget taxi drivers are service providers, and dealing with passengers of all kinds comes with the job.
Even idiots who failed PSLE know that “the customer is always right.”
Last I checked, nobody has put a gun to your head to force you to drive a cab. So get over it.

We professional , also must have the correct attitude , and the correct way of handling .
Taxi drivers are independant occupation , cannot be spoon feed all the time .
Taxi drivers must decide things well and quick .
We press the bid button , once confirmed , must be professional enough to get the job done .
In the other hand , commuters also must do their part .
In the event we professional enough to attend and fulfill the job , and the pax didn't do it .
Just proceed without the pax . You did your best !
But before proceeding , just press No Show and proceed .
No Show out there not just for show leh knn .
Make full use of it .

If 5.30am advance booking .
5.15am i will be at location .
5.30am press Call .
Call means MDT call and inform pax u are there .
Once successful , MDT will tell you call out successful , meaning pax answer the call already .
I dunno now , my time , 10 minutes after booking time , pax still haven't turn out , i can No Show .
No Show surely approved and i can fuck off .
Does it matters to me if pax is late ?
Does it matter to me if he cock up his stuffs cos i left ?
No lar fuck , i got aprroval from company to go .
Anything taxi company will answer for it . If i am the CSA and pax call in and complaint against cabby who left location , this pax guarantee will kena fuck from me , if i am the CSA , why late ? I will say back ? It's never cabby's fault . It's their fault .
I dun want to know how they do it , i dun care .
I do what is legal and S.O.P .
Just do your part .
That little part u need to oblige , the rest not important .

But there must be a limit , not until the extend you must provide so good service and need to give them your head !!!

5 min is my standard waiting time. Maybe got allowance 2-5 mins, also under special circumstances.
To play safe I never take calls that start at 545, 550 or 555am. This one all standard, pax will come at 6 am. They know 6 am very hard to find cab, so they ask 5-10min earlier, knowing most drivers come all the way, will wait.
No call never die. How you think our predecessors survive? You think they cared so much about calls.

I just take whatever that suit me, never bother about time and all these charges, even 6 am picking people at CQ and BQ also take, you call these pple wait till 6am then take or 550am then call as cheapo, I do call them cheapo, but I take it as human nature, if it is us, we might do the same, everyone wants to pay less and get more, no one will be sensible to pay more and get less.

The farking problem is, 5.30 call, you reach 5.25, you see one taxi went out with paxs, knn, as smart as you are, you sense a no show on the way, you call out, unsuccessful, you call pax direct, finally he pick up, pax tell you sorry, he is in hurry, apologised, you knn fed up, what can you do?, lan lan hang up.Infront, one ang mo couple waved at you going to AP.
On the road, many other cabs, if you do not take, that is it, durian gone infront of you, you called call centre to tell them pax no show, call centre tell you must call out and then press no show, but call out unsuccessful, and you cannot afford to wait another minute, because if you are going to pick up the front couple, you are still on call, end up the couples took another taxi.
From here you see that one no show can really mess up our driving mod, cdg MDT, fark lah.
