Faced rejections ?

Anyone faced rejections commuters chose a $3.00 - $3.20 taxis instead of those from $3.40 to $5 ?

Yes, I drive an Azera for 3 nights weekday, so fare starts at $3.90, got some rejections, but in a sense it's better, because those who reject are probably the more 'difficult' pax.
Those who board aren't fussy and still give tips.
But having said this, I'm guilty too. It's human nature or upbringing I suppose. If I were to spoot a Merc, Epica and a crown or sonata, I would wait for the sonata or crown.
And if I have to cross a road to be nearer to my destination, rather than make a U-turn, I would do it.
But it's really very silly of me, in the end, 95% of the time I always give the TD tips, usually more than the amount I had initially saved by my actions.
I guess it's just my culture, and the way I was brought up by my mum I suppsoe, she would always try to squeeze and save and would go for the cheaper stuff, if the end result was the same.
I don't squeeze and save, but I just follow the concept.

Sonata normally no rejection lah.Once in airport,a angmo should be tourist,hop into a Chrysler instead next to me when the coordinator signal him to get into mine.He must be thinking the taxi fare is the same

Since the flag down of $3.40 started , i only faced one who asked why $3.40 ?
The rest just hop in and pay later .
Cannot blame him , midnight charge , sit down closed door $5.10 .
Others , $4.50 .
